Good morning random folks. I've been busy this morning. I got my 2 miles in on the treadmill and I finally got that piece of scrap weedeater working. The handle on the starter rope pulled off over the knot that was supposed to keep it in place and every time I reknotted the rope, the handle would just slip right over the knot again. I finally knotted it twice then melted the knot with a lighter. It seems to be holding. Its still really difficult to start, but i finally got it started. I cut weeds until I ran out of fuel, and got most of them cut. I've refueled and will go out and finish in a bit. Tonight I'm going out to eat with my family for my birthday. I forgot my vapersary on July 16, sweet 16 years.

Thanks yall for the birthday greetings. After a lot of work getting the weed eater started, I got most of the yard done. I got all of the area around the house and most of the area that was outside the original fence line but is inside my new fence. I just need for my brother to move his electric fence so it's not cutting through my yard. I've got to finish weedeating then I can spray weedkiller. I'm hoping to kill off all vegetation so I can lay out sod next spring. It'll probably take a few rounds of weed killer over the next year. I'll have to have outdoor water faucets installed first, before laying sod, as the house doesn't have any and the contractor forgot to install them as I requested.
