Sitting down, facing forward.
The short answer is a specific product, Kotex KU, which is pure, untreated rayon. Most are using Graham CelluCotton, from Sally's Beauty Supply but, again, a 100% rayon product. There are also medical grade, pure rayon, balls available but they need to be unrolled for use which some folks find to be too much trouble.

I didn't read the entire thread so maybe I misunderstood but... are you guys using Kotex tampons?

In the US, you can get Grahams cheaply.
I recommend Kotex for building/rayon beginners elsewhere.

I use tencel from spinning supplies.
Some people who've used all forms say the tencel is the best.

Apparently it can be tricky in some RTA (easy peasy in STM RBA)
It seems a combo of tencel & the rope form matches/surpasses FibreFreaks.

I've never used the rope form & probably won't because of location.
Also, I'm an RDA tragic.

Tencel is trickier than other forms.
It outlasts coils- although I've never used it with kanthal.

I'll find my earlier post with tips & edit this post.

Rayon really is so much better than cotton.

EDIT:
For vertical coils, backcomb the lot.
Moistening the start at the coil seems to help.

Hi! No I think the 30mm is a great idea but I don't have a mod that can accommodate that monster. I'm no help I usually succumb after hearing peeps rave about an item. What about you?
I have the VT75 and there should be a LUX box here Monday. I'm still pondering the Plus and I'll probably wait for a few reviews. Definitely be needing a 30mm tank for the LUX when I don't want to drip on the Temple, a Dump Tank 30 is out of the question, they live up to their name and leak like a sieve from what I've read. The Modfather might be a great choice... Dunno...

Open to suggestions for a 30mm RTA. :D

My Taifun gt III came in from FT.

Needed a quick wash down, the screws are nice, the positive voltage path is nice, tank is nice, easy to wick. Flavor & th are great too.. Air flow is smooth with a fine air control for a restriced lung hit, about just right for single coil. Its more open than my drilled out bachelor. Assymbly is tight no weeping press fits here. (like the smok tfg2). I like the new taifun a lot!

24g 316ss, 3mm, 6 wraps, .34 ohms, 40-45w pwr. Air wide open, lung pulls.

Laid mandrel on base, attached leads, pulled up the coil a tad.

Started with a spread and rolled, doubled over DM ball strip piece... Stretched out a little. I pulled till it stopped, then stretched to even the density enough to pull it through and get good vibrations. Its Erie man. (that's basically my installation method)

Blew out about 6 long pulls worth to break it in.. Its been vaping like a absolute champ.!. Bubbles are flying during a vaping session. Its an agressive vape with the single coil, poppy and explosive right now which i love. No spit back on this tank which is a little surprising since its so intense with the fresh wick right now, must be the airflow.. Great th and flavor!

No leaks, ovenight with jc open no leaks, laying on its side no leaking or weeping so far, so good.

Its a winner in my book so far, day two, looking to be my daily driver. I recommend it.
Very Nice!
I just rewicked the Big German with a folded over strip of DM Ball, the previous Rayon wick was in there for months and needed to come out. That char taste of cooked juice between the coils was too much. :)

I put a 4 wrap 22g Z coil in the Genelocity Giant. A nice vape at 50W on the VT75, I think I'll pull some DM Viskose through it as well later on.

The 30mm is definitely more affordable as u get the 5ml, 10 ml, 20ml & the RDA I think. For I heard $45 after the 20% off. Heard the Modfather was harder to get & u have to buy the extensions separately & for more $.

I agree, the Plus is very reasonable with all the options.
The Modfather would be quite expensive to get landed here in Canada, poor exchange and all.
