Did you twist by hand or with a drill? Also did you cut the tails flush to the deck/juice slot?

Drill and flush.

It's more of a pain to work and will give trouble sooner. But I'm out of 28 kanthal till next week, and had to get this ss430 out.

Well it's Fresh Friday.. Put new builds in both my Fev and the Bachelor. Went triple twisted 3g kanthal, and the double insertion method for the bachelor.

DANG, that's big wire!!

Was that supposed to be 30, or 32 or ? ;)

Oh yeah, we had lots of fun with what to call that one. The reason for using that method is to keep the coil stabilized when you're using a thinner wire since you're putting equal pressure on both sides. It keeps the coil from pulling out of place or off to one side. It's also good for achieving the same thickness of tails on both sides.

Uh looks like the numbers got askew. Triple 32g wire at 1.9

Double insertion helps with small wire.. But it also just helps get good density easily.. Well it's easy to go overboard too. It's best to start with pieces that are gently tapered, if one piece gets real thick quick it won't get inside the coil evenly.

Aspire posted an announcement on facebook and I saw a thread here from angel gifts. Other than that I haven't poked around much yet. It's an RDA, RTA gennie style, sqounk RDA, nautilus X tank, all in one box.

Thanks.
All in one. Personally I'm done with those. Ones I've tried had leaks etc. Too many prepriortory parts for me. With the 8-8 regs coming down, I've concentrated on buying things I know I can maintain over the next few years. Like RTA tanks, etc. unless a device has an available RBA, I no longer consider them. Pre-made coils will be illegal to buy, since we have to SAVE THE CHILDREN. Thanks greedy FDA, and your BS. Good luck.

Well I see it has an RDA deck, so you will always be able to wick and wire it. Also consider if you buy it and like it. Get spare glass, orings, etc. I've seen these kinds of attys before, and usually there are compromises that have to be made, that make them less ideal in certain configurations. I thought when you said all in one, it was a new mod, sorry.

I've got one of those AGA 2 in 1 gennie and dripper and it was just so so.

I've thought about squonking with the cheap Kanger dripbox but some say the supplied rda is not very good. I couldn't see buying a better topper just to try a cheap box as it kind of defeats the purpose.

Since the quad flex gives more options it might be a way for me to look at squonking again.

Think I scored some pharmacy rayon. My dog's med had two different brands in the refill and they put a piece of cotton in between. Pretty sure it was cotton as it is bright white and full of knots. This refill had what looks like Sally's, feels squeaky between the fingers. Maybe half a cotton ball worth.

You other people might want to ask your pharmacy if they have or use rayon balls and if they will give or sell you some.
