Sweet!I've got to say this Limitless Plus with the notch coils - since I got it wicked right - is incredible.
Did you get the V1 L+ or the V2 without the widebore drip?

When you said "I cut straight out from the top of the coil, trimming off the upper part" did you angle the scissors? Cutting it in a slant? Like this pic from @thayamaxThat coil takes the whole strand of Sally's.
Pulled it through with a thumbnail on one side to not deform the coil. Trimmed it in line with the edge of the base and fluffed both sides. With both sides fluffed (looks like a bow tie) I cut straight out from the top of the coil, trimming off the upper part. Take the remaining wick and gently put it into the juice cup with the excess on the deck. (Don't jam all that wick into the cup)
Take a little screw driver and push the wick up a little bit through the juice hole so it is clear. I quickly pulse the fire button after dripping juice on the coil to load up the wick faster.
TL;DR
Trimmed and tucked.![]()
I have this dude:Sweet!

No you do NOT want the other version as it has no wide bore drip tip at all. There is a thread over at the other place about it, with letters sent to Limitless and iJoy about the slimey mid stream switch.

Your link on VapeRoyalty shows the V2 in the first and second pictures but the third picture has a different top cap (V1), it is angled and slightly rounded at the chimney. Only the V1 includes the wide bore drip tip.
Those of us that have the V2 need to either tailpipe it, attempt to find a wide bore DT that fits or use 510 adapter stub for a DT which makes it look like something you cobbled together from the parts box. (Thick and narrow bore)
I mean Really...

Totally unacceptable as iJoy pulled this switch quietly, one week the retailer gets V1 and the next reorder they get V2. The V2 top cap will unscrew from the AFC ring so there is speculation of a "optional" top cap for sale down the road. iJoy will get no more of my money.
Sorry for the Rant.
The Vape is excellent from it, and I do have a few wide bore drip tips from FT arriving. I can say that the L+ is head and tails over the Avocado 24 in ease of use and vape quality. No bother. *shrugs* Here is a picture of mine with my crappy LG camera:

I have no real issues with either one.
Thank you! I must've read your post 20 times then a aha moment, why don't I just askSorry I missed the question.
No I cut it straight across parallel with the coil.
Very well fluffed ends, blown on and well teased.

You're lucky! You got the v1 Plus with the drip tip, I waited & thought I was getting the v1 Plus, but no they snuck in the v2 Plus with no drip tip. But a 22mm Griffin's wide bore dt fits. But yours looks nicer.
I was one of the people at the other place that sent emails to iJoy & Limitless voicing everyone's displeasure at the switch without notice. Still no answer & I don't expect one now. I did try a 22mm Griffin's dt on the V2, it looks ok. Still annoyed at how they snuck a v2 in though. No you do NOT want the other version as it has no wide bore drip tip at all. I didn't figure you would get a response at all, the Chinese don't like any negative emails and tend to ignore them... A perfect example was Joyetech concerning the eVic VTC Mini TC issues.I was one of the people at the other place that sent emails to iJoy & Limitless voicing everyone's displeasure at the switch without notice. Thanks Paul!
Yeah not too happy about the no response.I didn't figure you would get a response at all, the Chinese don't like any negative emails and tend to ignore them... A perfect example was Joyetech concerning the eVic VTC Mini TC issues.
Any pics with the Griffin DT? (Take the cap off so there will be some Rayon in the picture too for thread cred!)
Ask anytime!
Trim any extra stick out bits as required.
In the Merlin I cut the length on each side parallel to the edge of the deck and then tuck into the wells, any excess goes into the deck slot keeping it away from the center air hole. Then I take a little screw driver and push the wick up away from the juice holes, so it is basically just sitting inside the juice well but clear of the hole.
Drip on the coil and quick pulse the power till the wick if fully saturated then put the tank back on.
In the L+ I only have a 1/4 of the wick going down into the channel (Serious Mullet). I cut the tail length so it tucks in just past the edge of the glass tank.
I like the mod protectors too! Last order I got a pack of the 22mm & a pack of 24mm. Should have gotten 2 of the 22mm ones. Thanks Paul!
Out of stock at the moment, I need some of those round mod protectors too so I will keep a watch out for the tips.
That would be excellent, whenever you can get a chance.Yeah not too happy about the no response.
I haven't built or used it yet. Just tried the dt. I can take a pic with the Griffin dt tomorrow. No thread cred for me

I figured I would add both just in case. The L+ wicks a lot like the Theorem, poke your sharp thing down between the wick and the deck to make sure the tails are not too tight. I unscrew the fill port section when building the L+, I find it easier than trying to poke wick down the holes like on the Avocado 24. Carefully screw the fill port section back on after it is all wicked, take care to keep the tails in the channels as you screw it back on, wetting then can help. How did you know the next question was going to be about how to wick the L+?
Thanks again!
Link for the mod protectors? Thanks! Thanks Paul!

Can you cut the 24mm ones using the 22mm ones as a guide?I like the mod protectors too! Last order I got a pack of the 22mm & a pack of 24mm. Should have gotten 2 of the 22mm ones.
