READYxWICK is not something I would vape with.

Now using quartz is something I might try.

Well duh? Make a guy look stoopit why don't cha? :pervy:
(actually, I had forgotten all about rxw)

I forgot about it on purpose. Tried it for months but it didn't work well for my vaping style. Not enough juice holding capacity.

vaping can be a pita. no one told me that when i started vaping ~3yrs ago.
mod not firing, tc is out of whack, messed up filling so it leaks, coil/wick need a changing when driving, messed up wicking so it either leaks and/or dry hits constantly, atty fell and need pliers to reattach pressed on fittings, filled up top filling atty in the dark and of course i filled up via chimney...what a mess that makes, 18650 battery shorting out in my pants via loose change in my pockets, i could go on and on but you get my jist.
but when the vaping gods are smiling down upon you..... vaping beats smoking hands down w/its flavour and satisfying inhales/exhales.
yup, im having a great day w/mod/atty/wick/juice, the stars must be aligned.

Finally got around to modding my L+ with air bleed holes like what can be found in the Aspire Quad Flex RDTA. Why post here? Because I no longer have to thin wick tails the perfect amount. You know, too little wicktail in the juice channels= leaking/flooding, too much wicktail in the channels = dry hits. Anyway here's some pics. Of course this only works with Genesis style tanks like the Avocado, Limitless, Ijoy Combo etc.

Notice how thick the wicktails are in those channels. It can't leak that way but would dry hit at 65w without the air bleed holes. Now I can just chain vape it to death at 100w. Can't take credit, Aspire had a great idea by adding those holes in the quad flex.
BTW, the holes are .5mm and are too small for juice to leak out using 70vg juice or higher but large enough for air to enter the tank and break the dreaded vacuum that plagues us all.
