My comb-out and trimming pile from wicking one 5.5mm macro coil. I use about one more strand of Graham's than the diameter in mm. For this coil I started with 6 strands 1.5" long each.
It makes a great tinder if you ever want to start a fire with flint & steel (or magnesium striker).

i have a friend with that kind of dog,, fragile legs.
The fiberfreaks original 16 pads... How to work with them? Its a pain to roll...
Seems to wick good when folded into usable size..
Bought the package as a rayon test for myself.. Guessing other rayon are not pads and easy to work with?

I paid $13 for one last August and still likely have more than half of it left. In hindsight I wish I had bought the 3lb box.
I just found out that different boxes of Sally's seem to have different thicknesses of Rayon in them.
I have a pair of 5mm ID fused claptons in one of my Aromamizer Plus'. When I pulled the deck today to show someone the build, it looked like a barbecue grill after a serious cookout with tons of char and the wicks were black. I thought it was starting to taste a little nasty. When I grabbed a piece of Rayon from the 500' box here at the vape shop to rewick the cleaned coils, it slid right through with plenty of room to spare. I actually had to double it over to get it tight in the coils. I don't have to do this with the 3lb box I have at home, the Rayon from it fits perfectly as a single strand.
Could have been a different run on this 500' box, either way I found it odd.

Caddy: search rayon on ebay. You can get a small bag for a couple bucks to try out.

Can't wait for Amazon to setup in Australia simply for Sally's, at the moment it's so expensive to get a box here...can only buy in the odd metre from one vape shop who grabs a box every now and then. Grabbed some recently and enjoying it...much better than the awful banana rayon a fellow vapist found somewhere and gave me to try a year ago...awful taste, even after washing...put me off rayon till I got some Sally's. Mind you the trick I've been given is to fire and blow through atty for about a dozen toots to get rid of the initial taste, even with Sally's, works a treat, after that it's all good...

Mine, also 500' box, varies as well. Probably has to do with tension settings somewhere in the manufacturing machinery.
Do you mean the Sally's? I think I have a global mail stamp around here somewhere. If you PM me your address, I can send you whatever will fit in an envelope. Someone did the same for me once, seems only fair I should pass it on. I liked it so much I bought the big 3lb box; I think I can spare a little, maybe...
