48mg doesn't go over well on the skin. If your not diy on rayon it's gonna cost you. I'm blowing through juice like crazy. I'm down to 8mg from 12 and still get a buzz. I used 12 for a year before and never got a buzz. My flavorings have been reduced as well. If you buy vendor juice you'll probably find you can easily cut it by 25-50%.

If there's nicotine in your e-liquid, be careful not to touch it with bare hands while priming the wick. Obvious perhaps, but still.. ;)

I get that .... all over my hands when I'm messing around with builds hasn't bothered me yet... I rinse it off within 5 minutes of contact

Agreed; that's higher than just about anyone vapes, so there's that tolerance thing..

I've seen no significant change; I went from clearos/glassos to RTAs, first with silica, then with organic cotton, then added a bottom feeder, and switched to KGD and now to rayon, all with the same nic level (15 mg/ml) -- which still feels "right". I started with mostly 18 and some 24 when I quit smoking a bit more than 6 months ago. I wanted to go from 18 to 12 but found myself vaping entirely too much at 12, so I split the difference and 15 is what's been working for me ever since.

My flavorings have been reduced as well. If you buy vendor juice you'll probably find you can easily cut it by 25-50%.
What I've found rayon allows me to do is to vape just my two favorite juices. Most of the time, I can still taste them without having to add a 3rd or 4th flavor into the rotation. :D

I read here somewhere that you should wash it off with cold water. Hot water makes it absorb faster into the skin.

I thought my ZMax was going crazy but I think it is lack of ventilation to the gennie tank. Reading the other posts about fill plug or not to fill plug leads me to think that. 2mm of CC in a 2mm wick hole might do that. Twice today I got low performance, raised the watts, later got burnt taste. Pop the cap and pull up some fresh wick. Too much performance and had to lower the watts.

Darn I seem to be saying this a lot lately "I thought I was the only one that did that".

I usually have four or five Mod setups on the coffee table and rotate flavors about every fifteen minutes or so. The rotation with CC is far less and I don't have to deal with the confusion of what juice I had in each tank.

Yeah, I had to cut mine by about 25%, both flavor and nic. I DIY - this was the mix I made for yarn - but if you don't, buy some VG or PG to cut down with and save some money. Haven't noticed much of a difference in volume though...

Ooo I used to get some really bad combos with multiple flavors (wrong fill/wrong tank). I think the worst one was Piña Colada + Peanut Butter Cup.

Glad I didn't have rayon then.

This is my favorite thing about rayon actually. Because it wicks more evenly and provenly better than cotton, you can get almost all the juice out without burning the wicks. So, changing out flavors is super easy and I've only tasted the old one for a couple hits.

I've also noticed that if you don't get them mostly dry but a good amount, and you drip near the wick, it will force the old juice to the outside of the wick and you won't taste it until it starts to get dry again.

I haven't had to cut my flavoring or nic level with the melatonin ball or the cc you sent me. I haven't tried the reinforced rayon that (oh crap) I can't remember his username, sent me but I definitely have to cut something with the tencil. That made me cough with every vape.

You can hit the wick with a couple drops of pure VG and it cleans the previous flavor nicely, on an RDA anyway.

Hey guys with experience using this stuff, could you tell me if the wick he uses in this video is cotton or Rayon, I cant tell. He calls it cotton but it looks exactly like what I bought at Sally's after reading this thread. Wicking starts at 9:20, Thanks

Josh,

If you listen close there is one time that he does call it "CelluCotton".

From the look of it I am sure it is the stuff we are using.

I have observed, and love this feature! I switch between 2 flavors on my Helios every time it goes dry, one juice, wakonda, is dark an almost a deep red on the wick, home slice is the other and it's nearly clear, giving me a nice "clean wick" look to my deck.

Also I rewicked with slightly less cc and it's performing well, but I lost a lot of capacity. I have been getting dry hits faster ur to that which kinda sucks, but I think a larger diameter coil may solve this issue.

Again, I think it depends much on what you normally vape -- because that determines your tolerance. If you vape 6 and get 18 on you, it may well produce noticeable effects. But if you vape 18 (or 15 like I do) and you get some of that on your fingers (which have pretty thick skin), no biggie.

At one point when I first started vaping, my wife (who's never smoked) said: "Hey, that smells good!". So I asked her, "Wanna try it?" She took one hit (18 mg at the time) and got a heck of a buzz. No nic tolerance at all. :D

Also depends on your weight :2c:
