500ft for $11. it looks just like a cotton ball after you unroll it. it is way fluffier than tencel. if you didnt know better youd think it was cotton but of a better quality. i love the box it comes in.....just peel the opening and reel what you need and cut it.

This sounds like the rayon material from bottles.. You'd think it was cotton at first glance.. Sounds like you'll be able to supply all of us..lol

loaded up the taifun with a grandmaster clone i make. in the past id only put the grandmaster in the kayfuns because it tasted better in the kf. but ill be damned if it doesnt taste the same.

have a .7 coil in it and am hitting the hell out of it on a new battery, so far ....awesome!!!!! vapor is really excellent..flavor is great
im going to load up all the other atties and test this out

According to the website, CelluCotten is rayon.

I'm using the tencel top in two atties right now, going to rewick this Magma with some, too. I absolutely do enjoy this fiber, it's so very clean tasting and a dry hit off of it doesn't taste as awful as cotton, and in turn doesn't seem to do much at all to the tencel. It wicks very, very well, fast and thirsty fibers.

And in reply, Jeremy, I have done the wet install, works best so far but I am going to experiment with other methods, too. I may have exaggerated a bit when I said it was a 'nightmare'. It's just .... different. Which is why we're playing with the stuff in the first place, right?

I am a little complusive I'm afraid - I have ordred the Tencel, the Tencel Nebbs, the Rayon Balls and the Rayon Rope. All are in various forms of order fulfillment. I will do my best to post a comparison of alll 4 items when they arrive. I will build all 4 in kayfun/Russian style Attys, and in Drippers. If I have time I'll throw the Fogger V4 in too.

Only limiting factor is that I will be away on vacation next week so if product's don't arrive it will take some time to do the testing.

Jeremy, thanks for getting this going and for all the research you have done - same to all who have put in the time.

I might have to try it. Mielkesfiberarts.com is sending me a bunch of different fibers to sample though and I'm anxious to try them out. She thought the carbonized bamboo and the bamboo rayon did a better job wicking than viscous rayon and soysilk. I'm really impressed with the effort she's put in to helping us find the ultimate wicking material (she's actually tested the wicking ability of the fibers she has for us). She thought the carbonized bamboo was very promising, but she doesn't vape.

well from what I see the Reinforced CelluCotton should wick better

I have access to alpaca fiber (probably 20 garbage bags worth) if anyone wants to be a guinea pig :) My parents have several alpacas and they just sheared a couple weeks ago. You will have to figure out how to clean the fiber prior to vaping with it. I thought about trying it out but I have spent a lot of time around them and I have a fear that it will taste the same as they smell...
She does clean it before she uses it, she makes hats and socks and what not so I can find out how she washes or cleans it if anyone is interested.

Just shoot me a pm...

I just read that burning alpaca fiber smells like burning hair. So idk

Ya, couldn't imagine it being very pleasant... Not to mention their not the best smelling animal to begin with. They spit some nasty green stuff at each other when irritated. Got caught in the middle of a battle once, took about 3 hours and two showers to get rid of the smell. Now it's all I smell when I'm around them... Traumatized I guess.

well ive wicked all my rba's with "cellucotton" , i think ill call it sallys rayon...
anyway...in the taifun, i cant get a dry hit at all. ive drilled the air to 7/64 per cloud 50's mod and have a 26ga 3/32 bit .7 ohm build on it.
with cotton id get dry hits if i didnt take care on how i hit it. with tencel, id get one dry hit about once maybe twice per tank.
with sallys rayon, i cant get one to happen. ive tried.
in the kayfuns, what can i say, they are easy. tencel was great, no problems, great flavor. with sally's rayon, same thing. great flavor, great vapor.
in the fogger v4.3...with tencel..i just had it stuffed on the opening of juice port and it was great, but id get a little juice through air intakes. and that was with a .8ohm build oh and with the airband all the way out...awesome vape!
now with sally's rayon, same build, same wicking method, i didnt get any juice coming out of the air intake.
so...i dropped down to a .4 ohm build....to push it ... no dry hits....no juice out of airholes.....airband all the way out, the vape is close to if not right there with a dripper!

I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO COTTON!!!!!!!!
another thing i like about sally's rayon is how easy it is to work with. easier but similar to cotton. sometimes when you cut cotton it will pull with the scissors. not rayon...cuts through it like butter... easier to get accurate cuts.
anyway, i cant say enough good things to say about this stuff.
im going to send some to cloud 50 on youtube and let him check it out...he is a BOSS at wicking!
