To recap, do I pack Sally's stuff tight or make it loose?

Cellucotton rayon looks to be just like the traditional rayon fluff I've always used. Really you only need to use enough that it stays in contact with the coil after it's saturated. It's much easier than tencel and much more forgiving. You pick up on the density very quickly and its so easy to rewick that you'll have it down in no time. The op is with this type of rayon.

Basically snug, 2-3 times as much as you think you need compared to cotton. If you twist it lightly to compact it, it will show you the size when its wet. You can either wick it fluffy and pull it like the op, or twist to get it through then untwist it and make sure it will still move side to side if you pull it.

I hope this lightheadedness is from the juice....

It is bro.. You can tell its a nic buzz.. That was always the first thing I noticed changing to rayon.

The 3D is more of a novelty piece, IMO. I have one and rarely use it. For the price, there's better atties out there but I understand the why you would want one.

I haven't research the stillare that much. Does the gold plating hold up over time?

It should. I suppose it could be scraped off, but I've never seen that happen.

ohio :-(
And in case anybody is wondering, my Efest 35 amp is taking much longer to charge than my Sony VTC5s. Need to figure out if my Sonys are real or counterfeit, but that's another thread. The VTC4s might even last longer than these VTC5s.
How old are the sonys, and what amp do you charge them?

It might be easy to re-wick, but I don't want to waste it. I only have 500 feet.

I think one of my wicks is too loose. The other might be too tight.

Definitely tasting wick.

You may actually be tasting the coil dry burning.. That's the most common thing you'll taste on a dry Wick or loose wick..

On the other hand if it's too tight it will mute the flavor a little also.

It should be fairly evident if ones loose, you'll see The gap and it will pull right out. for too tight try to slide the wick in the coil.. It should move but with some Resistance.

It may be the wide open draw on the stillair also.

I was just wondering because the gold plating on all my zens sucked.

Got it. I suppose it depends on if you have the real thing, a quality clone, or a cheap clone. Now that you mention it, I think I'm using the same number of wraps as I did with my Fogger V4, but the Fogger was actually .01 ohms lower (.06 on Fogger, .07 on Stillare clone). Not sure if it's my build yet or not as I've only wrapped two or three rebuildables so far.

Dual microcoils (may not be as tight as they could be). 26 gauge 12 wraps each around a jewelers screwdriver. Sigelei 20W is reporting .7 ohms but I think it reports a little low with sub ohm loads so it could be closer to .85 ohms.

caged...from my understanding...low ohm coils will get less chance of dry hits and will put out more vapor if there is a small gap between coils...better heat dispersion, you dont get one part of the coil too hot
