I bought juice with a viscosity designed for tanks. Turns out it's designed for protanks. For my uses, I can't get it to work well in an RTA, but keep in mind I am inexperienced. When the flavor of this juice comes through it is amazing. Everything I could ever hope for from a 100% VG juice (thinned with distilled water). I definitely think I am tasting wick and think I will try thicker juice.

Some juices need more heat before the flavor comes out. Try cranking up the watts. I usually increase the power until the vape feels a little dry and harsh, then back off a bit.

Your venturing into a world that takes quite a bit of learning. Starting to build coils and sounds like your first dripper. I still think your tasting a dry burn at the coil that's not in contact with the wick. Or you have a hot spot.... What I thought was wick was actually the coil. Unless its tight as h... , Or you have a hot spot... I doubt its the wick your tasting.. That's my experience..

Please do try it with cotton, you'll see when it works good its in full contact with coil... Also your going from a tight Ithaka to a wide open super airy stillair. Close the AFC or take really sharp pulls.

Put 15-20 drops In There and see how it goes.

After all them rave reviews this thread got my attention.

Anyone know a source to buy from within the EU ?

I mean short of slicing up all my bedding to check if any of it contains rayon ?

this is all quite new....
i would suggest looking in beauty supply houses or googling "rayon balls". i dont know if sallys beauty supply ships to eu or not.
the stuff i like best is used in hair salons for when they do perms....
hope that helps

Tight roll should help you get the right density.
With the wick rolled between palms and then thumbs it will then develop a set. You can roll it as tight as you want and it springs back. The wick is twice the size of the 1/16 I used to make the coil. This is the minimum it went in a protank with overwick.

If you do a tight roll don't fit it too tight cause it actually will swell slightly. I like doing it loose but I have a lot of experience with it.

Caged you may want to try a higher ohm with higher gauge wire since your just starting out. Dry burn and see if they burn evenly. If your tasting the wick when you pull it out you'd see Scorching, not just staining from a gunked coil.

There's a ton of coil building threads on here that can help you greatly. Get you a good basic ground work, there's lots of videos out there too!

Wow - just read through this whole thread - I guess I'm a bit late to the party! You've got me convinced - off to Sally's today :)

I'm hoping this solves the dry hit problems I'm having with my Fogger V4!

ive got it in my fogger v4.3 and love it...got a .4ohm build with no dry hits at all with airband all the way out...no gurgling either

just pack a little more than you would with cotton and just cover the juice slots... i use a dentil pick to adjust it to sit on the juice holes

i do it to where its just getting to be snug...not tight.. as a test, i pull on a strand or two on the end and if its not too hard to pull through coil then its good...
i guess it just takes practise
