Can you post some pics?
Just need to see the density of the wick in the coil.

My problem may be an issue with air hole placement. I put the top cap on my Stillare on without paying attention to placement. Forgot that it mattered.

Sorry for the terrible quality of the pics.

Thanks for posting, the pics are good enough for me to see that you need more rayon, the wick needs to be thicker/ denser. You should have very slight shoulders showing full contact in the coil after break in.

Nope. This is my third build (not counting an Ithaka with ready wire). I haven't tried to be creative yet.

try tilting the coils 30-40 degrees and have your wick spill onto deck. fluid has an easier path to coil.
ive got a quad that ive got both sets tilted and the wick looks like an ohms sign on each side
vapes nicely

Just so I don't go through every page of this thread again just to find it doesn't exist, did you post any pics of a properly wicked atty with this stuff?

On the Stillare, would you have the high point of the angle at the walls or at the center?

Here's a pic.. There are pics every couple pages.

Tight roll should help you get the right density.
With the wick rolled between palms and then thumbs it will then develop a set. You can roll it as tight as you want and it springs back. The wick is twice the size of the 1/16 I used to make the coil. This is the minimum it went in a protank with overwick.

I used a little more rayon in the dripper and with a bigger coil. here is a dry pic and a wet pic. I would say this wick was a little light here I could have easily used more wick.

It works.. I did parallel before i did twisted and I prefer parallel. Running on a zmax gotta keep it above 1.4 but with 32 gauge it gets hot and heats up fast. Usually run it at 15-24w with rayon. I ran 3 ohm for a long time in the past at 5-6v quick 3 second pulls with that, and long battery life.. Just recently started going parallel and twisted more since I'm stacking 350s I can push a full 6v to a 1.5 ohm coil for 24w and it heats hot and fast. And I can still get about 24 hrs on one set, easily twice as long as a single 18650. The parallel 32 is a lot stiffer than single strand and not springy like twisted. I also think its puts off better vapor with more wick coverage. With this build I'm taking 2-3 second pulls for clouds.

Thought I posted those but maybe not..

Problem is I don't have to rewick very often and I've been playing with the tencel lately.

Just use a little more. It's only been a day you'll get it down very soon.

Also pulling on both ends of the rayon will even it out and shrink it so you can get same thickness on both sides. But you want to try to make it even to start with but if one side is really thick and the other side is too thin pulling it gently will reduce the bulge on the one side so you can pull even thickness to both sides.

ohio :-(
i make my own juice and am always playing with the flavors so maybe it is just as good. i usually put certain juices in certain atties.
i did put my grandmaster clone in the taifun for the first try of sally's. usually its in one of the kf's.
it was pretty damned good to tell you the truth. maybe i was more buzzed about the rayon and didnt put it together how it tasted comared to the kf
I definitely missed this earlier.
