Turbo, you are gonna need more, I think. Tencel shrinks wet, you're gonna end up with a sputtery, popping vape. It'll vape, but for the full effect, try going even bigger. You want to feel a good deal of tension on the wick when you pull it through. I'm still experimenting, and my first two wick jobs looked about like yours. This last one, I went for max wicking material and the ends puffed out like dandelions before I tucked them in and juiced them up.

that atty has a bf pin available for it as an accessory, I used that pin but I'm not thrilled with it because it feeds at the very top of the well so the wells are always full of juice, too much if you ask me. I want to make it feed down lower so the well fills but then sucks back at least half way. also the pin they sell for it is brass, gonna remake a stainless one with a lower feed eventually, otherwise it's a great atty

thanks I'm going to try this a bit and then rewick it tighter stuffed :)

Does anyone know if this would be something good to use post-boiling?
I checked and "Viskose" is supposed to be "Rayon". This is also 100%, so no other stuff in there

Alternatively i could also get the Graham Cellucotton, but it's 25,44€ for 40 feet. Seems pretty expensive

Yes viscose is rayon, I'm guessing that word means batting; watte?

Just looked up watte, it's rayon batting. Should be the same, just a big pillow of it.:) just pull off chunks, rayon is easy to work with.

There's also a word for surgical batting. Watte translation English | German dictionary | Reverso

You need more turbo! I can see a shadow on the second pic. It will shrink a little when wet, as the juice fills the air voids and brings the fibers together.

Twist it to make it tight to slide A good amout in, you. Can then untwist and chk for slide in coil, remove strands if too much, you want it good and snug snug but not really tight. Still slideable in the coil without a lot of effort. When its wet like that you should have full 360 contact throughout the coil.

I will post up my tencel prep to make it more like rayon later today.:)

Your on the right track cuando, dandelions. :) as you can see in my last photo op.

Ok, thanks man!
I will try this asap, as I have some problems with my Ruthless Juice (90% VG) in my Fogger V4. Will definitely report back with some pics and results. :D

I was playing with the tencel the other day. I'd hit my wick very, very dry. Dripped juice onto the deck and wanted to see how well it wicked. I was shocked when the juice almost immediately started climbing the wick, I could see it working and laughed at myself imagining it making a slurping noise. Never saw that kind of wicking with cotton, ever.

I've been also thinking about reducing the size of the juice holding chamber in the base too, just don't need that with BF

ok I did what you guys are saying, how does this look?

call me crazy but I think I taste the tencel with it this dense, gonna vape through it a bit and see I guess

I noticed that too, it does seem to take a while longer to break in. Maybe up to an hour if you let it set. And it's density is touchiest than rayon. If it doesn't smooth out after 1/2 hr-hr... Just pull a few strands out, but not so much that it sags from the coil... Pics when wet is good.

Here's the tencel wick That was good, but it's was seperated fibers. pulled it last night to put in rayon. I had forced this to dry hit many times that's why the coil is gunked. Pic following is how dry I was able to get it before it dry hit at 12w or less.

This is literally how dry I was able to get it at 12w before the coil started to dry Burn, continued to vape it for 2-3 days with it. See how dry it got! Is that amazing or what.

i rewicked one of the kayfuns for testing,
i jammed so much sallys in the coil that i had to hold the coil from pulling with it.

first i noticed alot more vapor. very nice!
i tried to give it a dry hit by very lightly hitting on it for several long pulls(i removed air adjustment screw) and not even a hint of dryhit.
flavor is thicker too
went through half of a tank and i believe it might be that its opposite of cotton
more is better
