NYC!! Kept your money in one front pocket and your wallet in the other front pocket. Make sure your life insurance is paid up if you ride in a cab. I wouldn't wander the streets after sun set. If it rains stay away from the mud puddles on the street, if you get splashed you'll reek of stench from it. I live upstate, cows and stuff, been to NYC twice and I'll never go back, there is nothing there that interest me at all. I hope you enjoy the trip and have a great time, some love the city but it's not for me. :)
That's comforting

Like I said, some folks love it there, just not my thing. My wife and daughter go down for a day or two every year during the Christmas season, they know better then to even ask if I'd go. I stay home and worry about them the whole time they are gone.

Our first trip there we were in the hotel elevator with a young fellow, 25 or so, who was a bell hop, he asked if we had drove down and was impressed when we told him we did. He said he hoped to some day own a car but it was too expensive to garage it ever night. He also said some day he'd like to see a farm with horses, cows and chickens, he had never been out of the city. I couldn't get over it, a two or three hour drive and your in some of the rural NYS.

Just had an "holy crap" moment in vaping.

I've been having issues with rayon because, like Jeremy pointed out, I've been going about rayon with the same mentality as with cotton, so I just thought "....... it" and went ham with it, rolled up a gigantically thick piece, fed it thru while holding the coil, since it was so so tight, trimmed the tails (using an Erlkonigin) and lo and behold, wicks like magic, all the time and the flavor, oh man, the flavor is insane.... Just pure juice taste and am in 15mls already with zero flavor alteration, with cotcotton I'd have to change at 8ml as the coil was baked by this point and it'd taste terrible.

God bless rayon!

That's great sptz!

You sound like someone that got rayon down for the first time.. Amazing wicking, pure juice.
Congratulations!

Doubled your cotton longevity already. Be looking to quadruple it or more... A lot more.

Been to NYC a few times... Had to visit Lady Liberty and see that infamous Welcome to Brooklyn sign that was in the opening credits of Welcome Back Kotter... Well that dates the trip a little. :D

We had an old Fiat that we parked on Broadway just in front of a tour bus. We were looking to get a meal somewhere and as we stood there on the sidewalk this guy in a station wagon pulls up, puts his front bumper up against the back bumper of the Fiat and tries to push our car forward so he could have room to park. My buddy went over to ask him what the hell he thought he was doing and the guy just sped off...

NYC was the only place I had a waitress actually chase after us out of the greasy spoon saying "Is dat all da tip you leaves me?"
Tips are for service, when you have to ask twice for a refill on the coffee and end up having to get a bottle of Ketchup from another table after asking for one. Not to mention she brought another tables order to our table and then argued that was what we ordered when we told her otherwise. You end up with not much of a tip, if any. We should have went to the manager but couldn't be bothered at that point.

I just loved Liberty Island and would like to go again one day. We were staying in Clifton NJ at a friends grandmothers house and traveling through the Holland Tunnel was very cool.

Yeah the Holland Tunnel was cool, scary at the same time thinking about all that water over head. Wasn't thrilled with the streets we took after we came out of the tunnel, striped shells of cars on cinder blocks, eight foot fences topped with real razor wire around construction sites, I was thinking "Where the hell am I??!" I kept checking the dash board gauges hoping we didn't run out of gas or break down in that area! And I can't carry down there, my NY State Conceal Carry Permit does not include NYC.

Yes indeed! I remember the cars on blocks and a guy pushing a shopping cart taking parts off of them... I was always told about it but never believed it.

We had run out of Canadian smokes at the time and headed for LaGuardia looking for a duty free shop to buy some. Passed a cemetery on the way that seemed to go on for miles. I couldn't get over it at the time or tell you now which one it was, but it was absolutely huge!

I was never worried about breaking down or running out of gas, probably should have been but it never crossed my mind back then.
We don't get to carry concealed up here in Canada, all the criminals do but everyone else is not allowed. :D

Well they need to get the word out to the criminals that there is a law against them carrying! What's the sense in passing a law that strips the rights of the good people with the intent to make society safer if only the law abiding people will comply with the law?

Yep criminals don't follow the law.. Hint hint government.... I'm was born and raised in Houston Texas. Everyone carries down there. Shotguns in the back window of trucks.. People say its like the wild west.. But believe me criminals like to target the unarmed.. They don't want to mess around and get shot by thier victim... My step dad and even mom carry daily. Well step dad and uncles always carry. No body is going to mess with you when you have a 45 on your hip.

Its in my signature, hangsen Arabic tobacco, 100vg ... Currently 1.4 ohms at 6.4v or 30w.

Its a nice tobacco color, one of hangsens strongest flavors, im at 3.33% flavoring.

You should be able to reduce flavoring by 30% with rayon as well as nic. ... Run the flavor as low as you can without sacrificing flavor. Going overboard only adds more sugars to caramelize... If you like vaping muddy juices you'll be stuck cleaning the coil a lot more.

I take it the Hangsen is available in a VG base?

Just thought I'd stop in to say that I have consumed the coolaid this thread is selling.

Enough rayon arrived at my doorstep today to provide a lifetime supply of hygiene products for a very large mammal.

at 100%vg, I can run a Lemo at 30 watts (at 1.0ohm) with no dry hits, and 2x the wicking material. Blows away the Cotton Labo makeup pads that I was previously using, couldn't get above 20 watts before dry hits, maybe 22 if everything was perfect.

Hi guys

Just to let you know, package was found and delivered yesterday. I finished converting the mod this morning.

This means that this afternoon I'm finally rebuilding my erlp nano for nickel.... After 271ml (maybe 272ml if I get the time lol). I will post pictures of the wick.

Regards
Tony
