Just throwing it out there, I never believed in too much wick chokes it. Silica I used too much, cotton I used too much and when I receive this cellucotton I will use more than ever. Never had a problem. I remember someone did an experiment here on ecf and didn't find any difference in wicking.

You can choke it! It took me about 50 times to get the right amount in my kayfun - too much totally muted the flavor - I couldn't figure out what was happening. The same with the Reo - too much will choke the wick.

I apologize then, never happened with me even if I try, I don't notice a difference. Of course given that your fibers don't break at which point I rewick.

Uhh, things must be different in Greece then. :) I'm guessing you vape at low wattage?

lol. depends on the setup I have 13 15 or 17 watts.

maybe the feeding is so good that I don't rely on wicking? lol no idea. but in all my setups I make sure that liquids comes very close to the coil itself before gurgling. at the edge if you want. and I've used this with kayfun taifun fogger aqua squape Reo/rm2 and GG atomizers. I even remember having cotton that was very hard to remove once wicked lol.
the only thing I can think of is that if you stuff too much cotton then your tails will be very thick wich accepts a lot of liquids and therefore slows down transport to the center. and this is easy to solve by having big amounts of liquid reaching a very close point to the center and/or trimming your tails short.

other than that no idea lol!

That probably means that you will have a mile long piece of paper when you pull it out of the rayon.
Very true, it's all one length of a paper strip about a half inch in width running the entire length. Easy to just pull off.

I have the tenth of a mile size box. No paper.

Someone posted using a piece of kanthal wrapped around the tip of a 2-3 foot long piece of silica wick to keep the end from raveling and assist in threading through a coil. Once I get a handle on how wide a piece of CCr to use, I could do this as well. Run it through to the end of the length, then cut it off to make the tails.

I just re-wicked my Tobh with Rayon (~.32ohms, dual 24g, 1/8in ID).. Dear, Lord.

Previously, using Peaches and Cream yarn, I'd get about 10-12 drops in before I started cursing myself cause it was overdripped/leaking. With Rayon (cellulocotton), I put 20 drops in and it still didn't look saturated.

Instantly greeted with dense, clean, full on flavor.. after pleasantly vaping away, I couldn't believe I still hadn't met the dreaded dry hit. I took the cap off, looked inside, and couldn't believe it. My wicks looked bone dry, but I was still getting full on, WET, vapes.

This stuff is crazy good, guys.

just got mine. So far I'm impressed. Put it in the kayfun. Cleaner flavor than cotton and not a dry hit yet so it seems to be wicking faster when I'm chaining. And I can run my 1.2 ohm build at higher wattage and still get good flavor. My last build at 1.3 with cotton I would run at 12.5 watts. At 1.2 I'm at 18 watts and it's gooood. I suggest everyone at least try it

I don't know about that; going into Sally's I sure do feel like I left my manhood out in the parking lot!

Edit: And as the father of 2 girls, I've had to buy more than my share of tampons/pads/vagicil (always with VERY explicit instructions, like "I want the ones in the purple package, but Not the ones with the wings, or the overnight ones, just the regular ones like I always buy". Yeah, OK.

No shame there unless you try to wick one up in the parking lot!

You need to check out the sallys in my area.

I am in your camp too... always used more cotton than others and now for me more is better in rayon after doing 6 builds in two days.

This easily made wick assist tool will make it a little quicker for those of you that find it a little bit of a pain, and the outer edge of your wick won't get shredded...let's call it the Wick Wizard.

Remove the tip and run your material thru then install the guide tip, that's it...makes wicking a breeze.
