Seriously!!! You gals seem to need a million different styles just to accomplish one single purpose.

When a wad of CelluCotton is really all you need! ;-)

I'm just glad to be old enough not to need it AT ALL for that purpose... probably the only decent thing about getting old! :D

You can choke it! It took me about 50 times to get the right amount in my kayfun - too much totally muted the flavor - I couldn't figure out what was happening. The same with the Reo - too much will choke the wick.

I don't think I used so much that it choked it, it was vaping well last night... but this morning I got a burnt taste, so I checked it, and sure enough, it was burnt -- not as black as cotton burns, but definitely scorched where the coil had contacted it.

This easily made wick assist tool will make it a little quicker for those of you that find it a little bit of a pain, and the outer edge of your wick won't get shredded...let's call it the Wick Wizard.

Remove the tip and run your material thru then install the guide tip, that's it...makes wicking a breeze.

Could tell me exactly what that is? Looks like a pen tube. Looks like a good idea. Will have to try that.

Just think, you guys are REAL MEN... most guys can't even say (or write) the words "tampon" or "tampax" without having one of those full-body heeby-jeeby attacks. :D

Shoot. It's not just men. I work the front desk at a hotel, you should see how scared some of these ladies are to ask me if I have any.

They're probably just thrown off by stunning good looks. Lol.

it's working really great with the multi twisted ribbon, this one I might try upping the density a bit on the next wick just to see what happens but so far it's pretty great as-is

just got mine. So far I'm impressed. Put it in the kayfun. Cleaner flavor than cotton and not a dry hit yet so it seems to be wicking faster when I'm chaining. And I can run my 1.2 ohm build at higher wattage and still get good flavor. My last build at 1.3 with cotton I would run at 12.5 watts. At 1.2 I'm at 18 watts and it's gooood. I suggest everyone at least try it

Where did you get the 3 pound box? What is the number at the top you cropped out of the pic?

Since I never actually built with cotton on my cyclone, out of curiosity I rewick with organic cotton--the flavor is in no comparison with the cc, especially now that I am used to the fuller flavor with the CelluCotton.
Now just have to find a way to make this work more consistently. I'm guessing even though my coil grow nicely from middle to outside, there might be a problem with my coil instead of the cc...I've tried 1.5mm, then 1/6drill bit; I've also try using shorter wick, less cc in coil, give it time to break in--same problem as before still...Plus seems like my cyclone is not draining excess juice down properly so my coil is always sitting on a puddle of eliquid which negatively affects vapor production...

Edit: I did build coils and wicks before already with Rm2 and kayfun lite plus clone....just recently got the cyclone the same day with cc.

When I went to Sally's, all they had on the shelf were 3 pound boxes. Has anyone figured out how many feet are in 3 pounds? It's a ridiculously huge box.

My Sally had them side by side. Looked about half again taller. Maybe 750 feet?

At this price, you can't even trade some to a hairdresser for a haircut.

For comparison I use a 5/64 coil of 30ga 6/5 wrap for around 1.6Ω and it wicks well.

Some here said they guessed that the smaller 500' box weighed about 2 pounds. If correct, you'd have about 750' in your bigger box.

Doing some rough calculations a foot of the CC weighs about 15.6 Grains. So 500' weighs 7800 Grains. There are 7000 grains in a pound.

So it would seem if you bought a 3LB box that would be 21000 Grains divided that 15.6 = 1346 feet.

You have enough for a "PARTY".

I have a video to post today, of how I wick with rayon.. Close ups of the fibers too for newbies interested.

But however you come to perfection in you vape doesn't matter as long as you get it.

I'm back to Cotton once again. Although the Rayon seems like a great wick material it is just TO MUCH for me. To much flavor and mostly to much sweetness from whatever liquid I use.

Maybe once I get some straight PG and VG and Cut my present e-juice with those I can take the sweetness the Rayon seems to give.

It seems to me the producers of E-Liquid are adding flavor and sugar (If that is added or included in the flavoring) for what is normally used for wick materials. Now that Rayon wicks so much better, delivering more juice to the coil @ a faster rate, the blend of flavoring to PG/VG needs to be adjusted. For me at least.

Best of luck to all, I'm out of this thread.

Anyone else experiencing metallic taste after a few days? I am not saying it is the cc wick, but I can't think of other variables in my setup. Maybe not enough juice ... too much juice?? It may not be related at all, but figured I would throw it out to see if anyone else is having a case of metal mouth lol.

Just wanted to add a thought: I am probably vaping more -- could I have *gasp* vaper's mouth?
