Rayon wick, better flow, flavor, saturation and Nic Hit!

Here's my latest rewick with delascos rayon balls. Coil is wrapped on blue atty screwdriver ~ 5/64 , 28g 1.4 ohms. 6v on a stacked zmax v3. Th started out nice and strong, the way I like.

Just primed




Next day - check out the droplets of juice traveling on the stray fiber




Day 2 after a run till starting to taste dry. You can see dry fibers. Also the coil is dry. Barely noticed a dry hit.



And resoaked seconds later

I'm a MSG fan too but I found once you add it you have to be careful with the amount of salt you use or you'll ruin the dish, I use very little, if any salt when I use MSG.

I have noticed vaping taste much better right after eating spicy foods, now I wonder if it was the food that made that after dinner cig taste so good. I keep small hotel size salt and pepper shakers on my desk and sometimes will put a dab on my tongue before I vape to give it a little kick.

Holman, I like the idea of adding a little MSG to some ejuice for a try!

OK - I haven't had a chance to pick up some MSG so I have not yet given it a try.

Here is the interesting thing I did find; the "South Western Salad" that I mentioned made my vape taste like gold may have MSG I don't know for sure yet. BUT what I did find is that I spike it with a little Wal-Mart brand "Ranch Dressing" and according to the label it is loaded with MSG.

Just another one of those things that make you "go Hmmm..."

I am now a convert to thinner tails...for RDAs, jury's still out on my Kayfun 3.1 clone.

I have not had much luck making 'beds' of rayon, so I decided to mimic JeremyR's video.
KAPOW. Killer vapor from a single 1.0Ω coil on an Omega, and also from a dual coil 0.5Ω
build on Zenith V2 clone:





For me, beds of rayon did nothing but carmelize juice.

Also, been doing somewhat spaced coils-
wrap them on a mandrel tight by hand, don't even torch 'em,
just cook them a little on the mod, just a little squeeze to tighten up the ends.
Working A-OK!

EDIT:
For the curious, I get a pretty good 1.0Ω coil for 6/7 wraps of 28ga on 2mm.
I use a drill bit, but I've heard the little blue screwdrivers are 2mm...

So, I got my 510 extension today. I finally got time to see if it works! It does work with it! Now, it looks a little funny, but it works great! Lol I am not noticing any power differences. My tank is hitting just as good as it normally does Now, as far as if the battery lasts as long as it normally does, I do not know.....but I am going to see if I notice a difference

HaHa I know.....it is freakin long! Lol I knew it was going to stick out, but I did not think it would stick out that much!! MV had a smaller size, but I was afraid it would be too short. I almost went with the other one, but I figured I would rather the extension be too long then too short but yea it is big! Lol it is made for the gripper. I also figured that it would probably be made pretty good.

Been very intrigued and curious about trying this stuff out, but don't know where to get some. Vape shops around me don't carry it and don't feel like purchasing some online incase I don't end up liking it.

All Asian food stores stock it, usually in powder form.

Really? I knew it was used to bulk up some foods but I didn't know it was used in a particular style of food.

Now you have me wondering could you pack hollow Ekowool with it you know kind of a combination wick. Just kidden...

Better still next time you go for Chinese takeaway ask for a small amount of the stuff it looks a bit like salt, its used in most dishes.

The bummer about my extension idea is that my bottom feeder part of the mod cannot be used at all..... I guess I could put an empty bottle in the mod and squeeze it every now and then just for pretend! Haha
