And if you wick it with Rayon, you might just be able to use up a box of Cellucotton in this lifetime.Just use a toaster, 1500 watts!

This one always worked with cotton. The rayon is in there pretty tight, no gaps that could I see when I wicked it. But I didn't thin the tails out at all, they are just as thick as the portion in the coil. So I'll cut them down a bit next time I fill it. Never heard of thinning them like that because I thought thicker tails would mean it would wick better... like a thicker pipe can carry more water than a thinner one. Guess it doesn't work like that.
I too was never successful at building Kayfuns with Rayon until I started paying attention to what JeremyR has to say about it. This man really knows what he is talking about. I chopped my wick tails and all my Kayfuns (big and small) are now working like champs.

I believe most of them smell like flowers or something similar right out of the box, prolly not good for vaping..Sally's is close enough.
Yup. I like 'em a lot. They're all I've used since shortly after I got 'em. I gave away most of the box of GCC I had left.Rossum how are those large balls working out for you.?.

I tried adding some saline, 1%, to my DIY mixes. All it did for me was make them salty, and yes I used medical grade, sterile, saline. I don't use salt, I like the taste of foods in their natural state, for the most part and am therefor much more sensitive to salty tastes. Now I've got a 500ml bottle of formerly sterile saline, missing a few drops, taking up space on my desk.
