Looking for some input on my wicking. I run a single coil only in my Vertex, and wick it the normal way, which means a lot of juice floating around on the empty side of the deck. This makes it easier for the juice to slosh around and leak out.
I decided to try this way of wicking:
Both ends of the rayon were thinned, with the tail coming from the negative end of the coil looping down below the coil, and then through the posts to the empty side of the deck. The tail coming from the positive side of the coil was split into two, thinned some more, and one half of the tail was tucked under the coil, with the other half going between the posts to the other side of the deck.
This is after vaping it down (not to the point of it being dry though):
The wick was fully saturated (and then some, with some juice sitting on top), and you can see that even the empty side with the bed of rayon has started drying. I'm guessing this means that the wick is working and the coil is still able to pull juice from the little bed I've created? Any problems running it this way?
Thanks for any input!
