That's my $192 authentic!! It produces the best flavor of anything I own, but it just wouldn't flow enough juice, and I've got too much money in the thing to just give up on it. I'm sure I wouldn't have wasted so much time on a $30 clone.

Oh yeah, I didn't mill those slots: I CNC'd an electrode, then I burned them in my E.D.M.

Now I see what you meant when you said that E.D.M. has come a long way. :toast:

All the action is on the DNA40 threads. There are some folks over there that are bump-heads and I decided to retaliate and it has turned into a real Donnybrook.
Don't waste more time with them. They will just drag you down to their level and then beat you by experience.

We all know the board has issues and not acknowledging that is ridiculous.

Evolv had a great idea but the execution wasn't that great. Isn't it always like that?

Excellent advice Tony, That kind of strife does take a toll.

Unfortunately I didn't follow my own advice but I have Latin blood that just starts to boil too fast.

Anyway... Rayon is great with both kanthal and ni200 :)

(I'm sticking around here for a while to cool off if you guys don't mind :) )

Thanks :)

A couple of hours ago, I was preparing my gear for tomorrow's trip and since I only have one dna 40, I decided to prepare an atty and mod for backup.

Since I had already coiled my kfl with ni200, I thought I would rip out the build and put some kanthal in there and use that atty as backup.

I vaped two tanks on that atty and when I opened it (dry) I was shocked to find both the coil and wick absolutely pristine... Not even yellow. It was all shiny and white just as the day I built it.

Yes, two tanks are nothing (specially since my erlp just crossed the 50ml mark on the same wick) but I was baffled that there was no evidence that the atty had been vaped on.

Did I say I love rayon? :)

Oh that's a bummer you didn't find it.. It should be by the perm stuff. I've heard its tucked in a bottom shelf and easy to miss. Maybe next time a more helpful person will be working... They call cellucotton beauty coil, rayon version.

Graham beauty coil, cellucotton 100% rayon. Box 44063

Can someone tell me where the rayon is in Sally's? I looked high and low through every aisle and could not find it. So I asked the nice lady behind the counter, she had no clue as to what I was talking about. Rayon, cellucotton?

All Sally's are different, but I know mine was stored at knee-level on a boring side of the store. If they've got bona fide salon equipment (like rinse sinks, etc and not like hair dryers and nail polish), it'll be near that. Had to ask the GF what it'd be near, but apparently the ladies getting perms need that beauty coil, so it should be there!

Of course Jeremy's got you covered too. I bet he knows all his Sally's employees by name now! :p

I can't for the life of me figure out why so many folks are screwing around with cotton.

+++ a million, Tony......!

Because they just haven't been exposed to the other white meat yet. I was raised with the sayin "once you go black you never go back" (can't validate that one) but I can say once you go with the purest white of rayon you will never go back to any of the lessor wickers! :)
