You gotta be kiddin' me!! All those 'mystery meats' are THAT popular there? With all the ocean around you, you'd think that seafood would be king!! Vienna sausage tastes like mush to me, lol

Yeah, canned tuna, crab, and clams. LOL My parents worked a lot so the easiest thing to do is crack open that can

Now THAT would have been livin' high on the hog in my world as a kid!! Heck, I STILL can't afford to eat canned crab or clams very often...but tuna, yes

I have NO IDEA P...I just remember it WASN'T white like milk should be...and had a funky smell about it too. To this day...I won't touch powdered milk...and don't even care for regular milk, unless its either an ingredient in something, mixed with a sugary cereal, or has a lot of chocolate or strawberry flavoring in it!

and...NO it didn't taste like regular milk either...lol

Have any of you ever watched that program "Jericho" when it was on tv? I just got done watching the two seasons on Netflix and am so p.o'd that they cancelled that program before it had an ending!! It is SUCH A GREAT SHOW! I read online that Netflix is trying to get them to revive it now tho. I read that season 3 and 4 were out in COMIC BOOK form however. I thought...you gotta be kiddin' me...it would lose something in THAT format!!!!

Oh...I've seen those before in the store. Nothing like a little dose of red dye to go with your mystery meats..yum, yum....lol

Guess we're lucky in Michigan, state law that only muscle meat can go into hotdogs, sausages, Bologna and other sandwich meats. Koegals for the win!

You can order them online I believe, but they're like 8 bucks for 8 hotdogs shipped. We get them for 4 bucks here though

Ummm, yup! Lookin good. The Capt's got all sorts of goodies! So glad I found this thread :) Not to mention after some trips to St. John and a recent cruise and beach house visit I'm feeling rather nautically in my life. Love them waters, they be callin'!

Now, vienna sausage used to be a treat at my grandmothers house. She would fry them up in a pan and serve them with eggs for breakfast. Quite yummy back then.

Cherewine, I watched me some Jerico back when it was new. Liked it real fine. Recently I was introduced to Breaking Bad on Netflix and am finishing season 1 tonight. It's a goodun'.
