Hi all!

Been stalking here a few days and have been very interested in the DNA20 Cutlass. A very generous member offered to let me borrow a DNA12 version to test for a few days and I'm eagerly awaiting it's arrival. I truly expect to love it and to soon be hunting for a Cutlass DNA20. This is a great group of people!

Well last night while researching and checking out the web pages somehow I just couldn't resist and bought the CruiserHD that was out there. I forgot to copy the photo's before they were taken down so you'll have to wait for pics.

Look forward to getting both these and joining your ranks.

Oh, I want to minimize voltage drop by not using the magnets and currently have button top AW IMRs. If these require magnets what batteries do you run that don't?

Ahoy!

I had included a note with your mod about batteries along with a flat top battery to get you started. The mod is in the mail and on the way :)

Not all batts are created equal in size even though they are supposed to be. I've been using the Panasonic brand this last year and like them a lot. The Trustfire seem to be a tad too long and the cheap ones will not even fit sometimes. The flat top batteries will fit nicely too. Magnets will not be needed.

The HD models have a spring and tab on the negative side to allow it to draw more amps, it is easily possible to collapse a spring when using sub-ohm coils so everything has been beefed up to handle at least 8 amps if you feel the need for high power vaping.

The Panasonic CGR18650CH may still be available, it is a great battery but I heard it was being replaced with something else.

Hope this helps, arrr

Congrats FB, I'm sure you'll love the Cruiser and Cappy's work :)
Arr! A new crew mate enters the ranks! Greetings and to welcome ye'. :D.

Thanks!

I also just ordered a custom 5 box mod caddy. Maybe the wife won't notice the new mod in the caddy.

That text from the EU commission was just a whole bunch of BS from the first line to the last. If you read what they wanted to impose as a standard ecig, that basically was a huge step back to products we had 3 or 4 years ago, and an opening for the industry and the kind of products they are most certainly going to TRY to impose on the market soon.

I didnt know about that text Chet, but it's soooo good to read this.... :)

Not so much of a step back and more of a bribery-like sign ?
How could somebody think of the term "consistent" (nicotine delivery system) for an eCig (from the EU commission proposal) ?
You can find this exact term (consistent) in the description of both the MarkTen (Philip Morris) and the Vuse (RJ Reynolds)...
As were the small content of the cartridges and the nicotine level limitation and the non-rechargeable cartridges...
Yes, a technical spec of a non European product made a law, forbidding the sale of all other (competing) products all over Europe.

Let's hope the final text will regain reason and set RSM as the standard ;-), well, or at least a reference implementation of it.

May I suggest that the URL for your website be updated in the first posting to reflect your current address so that users new to the thread can find your website without having to resort to a Web search? I missed that you had a clickable link in your signature because I was using Tapatalk which doesn't show sigs.
