Good day everyone
I hope you guys have a better weather than us poor Europeans. Daylight seems to last for two hours, it never stops raining, it's cold, it's windy, my feet have been wet and cold for more than 2 days...I guess summer is over

I was just out replacing the battery and windshield fluid nozzles on my car in this weather. I've got all year to do this and just happened to have the time today.

Seems that now-a-days my vape budget is going to everything but!

Oh wow, the cold weather is definitely coming, it might not even hit the 70's here next week. Florida is awesome except when it comes to paying the electricity bill, damn A/C runs too much but who likes to sweat all day long.

After driving 225+ horsepower V6 cars for so long, it felt a little "sleepy" as far as "aggressive driving" goes. It was also kinda loud for a small car, but not overly bad, especially for a diesel. I reset the gas mileage doo dad and drove around for about 12 miles and averaged 47 mpg.

Dang nice little cars. Little pricey as the one I drove was almost fully loaded at 30 grand.

Sounds good. I hear you about the power and that is what I was mostly curious about. I am a horsepower junkie so I doubt I would be completely happy but it is nice to see an american compact finally get a diesel engine. Would really like to see those more in SUVs and Trucks here. Maybe someday.

I'd be all about a 6 cylinder turbo diesel in an American made midsize sedan or crossover.

It's annoying because there are a lot of them being offered over seas just not here. I use to be a huge Ford Ranger fanatic. But I finally got soo ...... because south america got the exact ranger I always wanted and Ford refused to sell it here. It was a Crew cab turbo diesel with a solid front axel. I would have bought one in about 5 seconds if they had sold them here.

Anyways hope everyone is having a great weekend. Blizcon was cool. Was a litle disappointed they didn't have the dance contest this year. And am still annoyed comicon for a movie sneak peak but they wouldn't show one at Bliz's own convention but meh. Still lots of info and plenty to think about.

Ahoy!

I better do an RSM update. I messed up my back a few days ago and have been spending the time since in bed with pain killers. I've gotten up and moved around a little bit more every day but I tried to work today and I think I need another day at least. All I managed to do was print some shipping labels from my home computer when I felt I better get off my feet again.

I had the desk caddy orders all cut out and sanded and David said he put finish on them in the shop today so I think I can get them shipped tomorrow. I just have to inspect his work and box them up. Cross your fingers...

Last time I blew out my back I kept myself immobile for a month. I learned not to do that and have been getting up and moving around several times a day.

I guess this is a b-day gift from fate for turning 55 eh? Arrrrr! This getting old stuff sucks....ah well...

getting old does suck! And back pain is up there at the top of sucks in my opinion. Take it easy Cappy.

I've struggled with lower back problems for over 30 years but have recently discovered that stretching my calves and hamstrings on a daily basis eliminates the occasional blowout....about 2 years now without one.

ahhh that sucks cappy. hope you get well soon.
when I had back pain I tried stretching my back on exercise ball(pilates ball) and that really helped.

I herniated a disc in my back a few years ago at work. I was a temp at the time so I had to keep working on it. I think that actually helped it as sitting for more than 10 minutes would cause the whole thing to stiffen back up.

Stretching has helped me immensely as well. Just don't over do it

Yeah, sounds like many of you have had the pleasure of back problems. I do believe it is in the top 3 things people come into a hospital for... back pain.

As soon as I realized what I had done to my back, I had David my web guy turn off ordering of desk caddies. I promise a week turn-around on ordering and I didn't know how long I would be laid up. At the rate I'm getting better I hope to be back to work tomorrow or the next day full time and then I will enable ordering again

I have some 19 models available in 2 different woods so they are always made as ordered, there are too many types to keep stocked for sale unfortunately.
