Here is the second coat of finish. Turned out good so far except for the gap along the top of the door. Had to sand off a little after I ficxed the crack...... Not sure what the tops and body woods are but the inlay is G. rosewood and yaya


No clue why they turned out upside down.....

Ignore the other mod its a side project but I only had two upload spots left on ECF so I killed two birds with two pictures

Looks awesome, you did better than some of the pro's around here, well done!

I order my magnets from e-bay, there is a supplier in Hawaii I usually get them from. You didn't get any with the kit? There were supposed to be several in there, if not I will send you some.

Post them up in the DIY showcase, bout time we got some new pics there.

Hmm, I've been sending out alot of boxes lately, but not seeing many pics, some people are just plain mean ... arrrrr....

No i didnt see any in there Brian. I actually triple checked. I figured they were stuck to something. Ive got a whole box of rare earth magnets but they are too small for the hole that are there. Not that I see the door falling off anytime soon......

Wish I had some better tools and it would have turned out better. The gap in the top of the door drives me crazy lol. Thought about popping a cap off and shortening the whole thing about a millimeter but decided against it since I know the glue I used isnt ever coming loose

Ill post up some proper pics in the DIY thread after I put the guts in.

Arrr, on a side note, I shipped out the mods for FV and Baker today, SK's is the next one to go out the door. One more mod to post to the website then back to work, Yo ho ho!

All that's missing is to fill in the windows with little panes of stained glass, then mount clear LEDs on the inside to illuminate them.

The paduak one in my avatar that I bought from Brian is my favorite wooden mod. It works perfect. Feeds perfect and its beautiful. Only complaint I have about it is my ikenvape cannon 510 atty wont fit on it lol. But my 510 stealth do
