Hey Captain, you said earlier in the thread you were about a hour away from Vapestock. Privacy being what it is and all, what general region of Florida are you in? Do you have a Northern Tool & Supply close by? I've had luck in their bin arrangements finding all manner of things I'd normally only find online. -Magnus

At the moment the Red Sky is tied up at Bradenton cove. I just got back from a local hardware store and he had the #1 phillips head driver bits I was looking for all along, so I bought them all and have just enough to include one in each mod of this batch :)
I did get a sorta strange look when I checked out tho, arrrr

Cappy, before you send the new batch, can you make a short video and show them to the world, also the innerworks!
I will watch it everyday until I sail back home, promise cross my pirate heart!!

For you, I will do this very thing. It's about time I had a new video anyway, it's been many weeks since I last posted one.

Cappy, adapter question for you re; 510-801. I have successfully used the short one from MV on all my mods. I am doing some shopping for emonty. He wants one that will not screw up his RSM. Is being able to adjust the center pin a deal breaker in your opinion?

I'm not quite sure what you mean. The 510 connector on the RSM is a standard connector, there is no longer any tube protruding from the center, it sits flush now. Anything you can use with any other 510 connector should work with a RSM now. Is that what your asking?

Arggg, the diameter of the bits I picked up for adjusting the voltage is to big .....thats it, they are going to take a little trip over to the belt sander and instantly lose some weight around the middle. It's way too late in the game to drill the adjustment hole bigger so they must become thinner, time to make sparks, har har har

No. In your opinion as the builder and 801 user, should I get him the short/stealth adapter that can NOT be adjusted, or the standard one that CAN be adjusted?

Ah, I see what your asking and the adjustable one is nice in case you need to tweak it to make good connection, either should work fine ofc, it's just nice to have the option to adjust the depth of the center connector.

Ok, they fit now and I didn't even loose any flesh doing it, always a good sign. :D

I think I am going to go ahead and offer #504 for sale, I have two perfectly good RSM's, I don't really need a third. Besides, If I do, I will just make one :D

#504 - $169 - Rounded Granadillo body with Beveled Honduran mahogany end caps, VV+LED, Gloss black SS Button & Catch Cup.

One reason I was going to keep it is the LED has a white face instead of black, I've not seen one before. Factory error?

Yo ho!
