Okay, I think I understand all you've said and I'm fine with it. I actually was going to buy a bottom fed 3.7 that utilizes the 18650 but maybe now I won't have to! Anyway, so, you keep saying in the up position to unscrew the atty or it will get full battery power. Will this damage the atty? If so, how do we use the 18650 for 3.7 vaping? Or does it mean that if the atty is connected, we won't be getting a true battery read? Sorry for my confused newbness!

Yes, much like myself your RSM will go 'both ways'. What I mean is if you are vaping with VV using dual batteries and switch to the UP position and hit the fire button, you are going to apply around 8 volts to the atomizer (the voltage the dual batteries are providing) and will hear it start to sizzle like bacon in a pan. Probably nuke it if you hold the button more than a few seconds and attys aren't cheap.

You go both ways Cappy? :)

Okay, so, in the up position - I can use 18550's or stacked 123blahblah whatever they are 3v batts and it will be fine. If I have the vv batts in however, it will fry my atty in the up position. Right? But in the down position, it will tell me the volt I'm vaping at with the vv batts and all is good? Oh - is it telling me the volts under load or not in down mode? And what is it telling me in up mode? The battery voltage?

Can mine come with an instruction manual? :p

Those switches aren't gonna be here for another 4-6 weeks unless I can find a local equivalent, so I am not going to make more like this until I can do it right and also offer the 'Off' position. Hmmm, but, I suppose I could mount two switches side by side, one for mode and the other for on/off ... hmmm...now I'm thinking again... temporary solution...should work!

nice... two switches sound awesome, but probably needs to be in different color or labeling to avoid confusion.
Wish mine had that!

That's me ~ so thank you very much! :blush:

what is you phone number?

j/k :p

Evening Tybin;

To clarify even more cause I do get long winded sometimes, probably due to being able to type very fast;

The voltage display always reads what is being applied to the atty.

Up position you take the VV circuit out of the loop and use unregulated battery power, down position you change to the VV circuit.

To get a 'under load' reading you leave the atty connected, to read voltage without any load just remove the atty.
