Excellent! Hope fun was had while building the kit. Nice way to save a bunch of bucks and still have a personalized wood box mod too.

I've mentioned it before, but I could use my sub-forum thread to start a DIY Kit showcase. Everyone who builds a kit and wants to show it off could post it there. I'm not using the subforum myself right now.

What do you all think? I also could post them on my website, a slideshow like I have for Scallywags.

Here she is! Queen Teuta (of Illyria), my new Mark III.
My husband finished this from Brian's Pre-made kit. I had ordered the inlay a few weeks ago when my husband started a wooden bottom fed mod for me by hand. I was super happy to be able to hand the pre-cut kit to my husband & he finished it in no time.

the sub forum is a great idea. could be a humbling experience for me as my woodworking skills are no where near the captains.

Bye the way Captain, would you use a polypropolene glue for the joints or recommend another type?

I use a name brand wood glue, but with a small trick. I coat the wood lightly with wood glue, leaving a couple small bare spots, then dab a bit of super-glue on that spot and it tacks the two pieces together firmly after a half a minute and the wood glue dries more slowly and creates a super strong bond.

So, along with your order, I will throw in two more premade mods. The last Mark-I type I that I been saving to admire, and the ONLY existing Mark-I type II 'Stealth' box mod. You can keep em or you can give em away at your meet, all be up to you you're ladyship!
