Ahoy, good afternoon!

Well, all the of Mark-IV's survived the retrofit to VV. Today they get assembled, tested and then some final coats of finish. I can start sending invoices later today and get that side of things settled too.

I should be able to ship by Saturday, perhaps Monday if they need a bit more drying time.

Other than that, the usual busy day here in sunny Florida.

"Arrr, why are we adrift? Why isn't the anchor holding? And where be Mr. Lazerrred, wasn't he on watch?"

Whew, 3 VV complete, 3 more to go ..Tomorrow I will finish the 5v and 3.7v, they will be alot quicker wiring up than the VV ones.

Funny, even using VV I've found I run it at 5 volts ... I think others like that voltage too.

Well, couple more hours soldering and stuff then done for the day.... arr

Last update b4 crashing for the night.

Got 5 of the 6 VV mods done, will finish the last in the morning along with more basic wood cutting for the next batch of scallywags and more diy boxes.

For my next batch of Mark-IV's I have to figure out the ratio of 3.7/5/VV mods to make so I'm not caught short of one and have to retrofit again, takes way to long to do that.

I will post some pics tomorrow, but they are still under construction so I will wait until they are ready for some final coats of finish and take pics then.

Later all..

Good morning Pirates! Had a question for you Cap'n, I don't know why I didn't ask before ordering a VV, does it have a readout meter like the other newer and updated VV mods? Hopefully it does because I don't cherish the thought of me having to attach a meter each time just to set it to what I want. Keeping my fingers crossed!

Good day all.

No, I also use an external meter. The size of the mod electronics enclosure is too small to add a premade LED display board.

Madvape's sells a handy mini-digital voltage meter just for this purpose.

Hope you all have a quick friday, weekend is just around the corner!

Bummer but Ill get over it--Im not mechanical minded so I'll probably just guess @ volts til I find my sweet spot, lol
Unless I get some tutorials!

I only am aware of one mod that comes with a digital readout and the box is pretty big, and expensive. There may be others that I'm not aware of.

Madvapes.com sells a swell little digital meter for checking the voltages out.

Thanks, Brian
