Nice looking mod there. I'm liken the bottom feed system. Have you thought about a catch cup?

Being a tilt and shoot, not really needed. I've been using the prototype for a while now, no leaks, even when overfilling a bit. If it does, its probably not going to be more than a drop or two.

Tilt/invert the box, squeeze for a couple seconds and go back to vaping.

Red Sky Mods for more info

Ok, back to work I go, arrrr...

Ok, you got me curious to see if I COULD make it leak. I inverted the box, squeezed HARD for 15 seconds.

It started dripping out the top of the atomizer so I turned it right side up. No juice came out of the air slots. Perhaps they are too small to allow it to flow freely by gravity alone.

There was about a drop worth pooled around the bottle top feed tube from all that squeezing. Nah, don't think I will need to add a catch cup. Easy to add one, but no need to mess up the looks of it for now.

Good question tho Lazerrred, thanks!

No problem!

Thank you for the beautiful box!

I'm looking forward to the feeder units!
Put me on the list!

Ditto for me. I'm vaping #204 right now and I_am_impressed. Exceptional workmanship; simply exceptional. By far it's the best workmanship of any wood box mod I've owned and I've owned quite a few.

It looks great, feels great, and vapes great.

Thank you all for your kind words about the mods and website.

While its almost impossible to have a perfect wood box, with router/saw chipouts, splintering, hidden knots and a myriad of grain patters each with their own 'personalities', I do try.

Many of the pieces I cut I have to reject before assembly due to these problems. I try to re-cut these parts into smaller parts for the boxes to avoid waste.

As for the kits mentioned above, lol, If I could have gotten my hands on a kit all this would have never started.

I'm figuring out what to include and what state the wood should be before selling. Rough saw, route the edges needed and cutout the insides would probably be necessary. Also route out a window for bottom feeder and bore atty and button holes. More than likely if someone is ordering a kit they have NO wood working power tools available.

What would be Left for the DIY person would be alot of sanding, fitting and gluing. Applying finish to the box, solder together and install parts.

What do you think? Too much? Too little? And what about price?

Arrrrr!!

I see your point now. I tilted the PV just past horizontal, squeezed for about 5 seconds when it was already primed and got some drips out the air holes in the bottom of the atty. Instead of letting up as soon as the drip started (which sucks it back in), I foolishly kept squeezing and when I held it upright again it all dripped around the atty connector.

The simplest solution would be to countersink the atty in a 1/2" well, probably .1" or so deep. Other than that I would have to glue on one of those finishing washers or PVC pipe, perhaps paper towels and duct-tape.

Arggggg! You just earned yourself 50% off your first mod if you ever decide to get one matey!

Prepare to set sail, there be a foul wind a blowin ....

Sweet!!! You went with "Scallywag" for the Mark III ... I love pirate stuff:)

The Mark-II was originally going to be the 'Wench', but I thought it might be too non-PC.

Mark-I 'Cutthroat' (Changed to Bandit)
Mark-II 'Wench' (Changed to Misty)
Mark-III 'Scallywag'
Mark-IV ?

How about an 18650 feeder mod? Many prefer the smaller cuter ones, I prefer mine manly and heavy, I'm a big pirate. Mark IV-Big Pirate?

Yarr It will indeed be a 18650 bottom-feed, but the name, the name .... I hate naming stuff.....

Cast yer deadlights on this matey, it be smoke without fire! Magic! Arrrr!

If you want Pirate stuff, my son worked on the Pirates of the Caribbean movies. I'll see if he still has some of his graphics.
