I was debating that very thing in my mind, but I think some people like a more flamboyant flair so I went with it, my tastes are usually a bit more subtle.

Bling, bling, and shiny booty! Had it been inlay one on each side.....hum. I like the wood inlay myself. What was that "m" named wood in Aziffels? Gosh that had a pretty marbled like grain to it and it was a wider inlay than your norm.....very striking. On a darker body, say babinga, I'd be fighting him for it

Like juice flavors, we are all so different ;-)

hey cappy. Might ya be interested in some cabinet wood cut offs? I collect it for firewood and occasionally find pieces that have nice color or figure to them. Not sure they'd be big enough for your bodies but inlay fer sure. Got some pretty reddish/blushy pieces in the last load.

Why thank ye, most kind, but I have inlay stuff coming out of me ears.

Now that I am caught up again and have some stuff on the website, I am getting ready to tear into the new wood and start another batch. Almost the only thing that has sold well in the last few batches are the VV 18650s, so that is all I am going to do this time.

VV's with led's is what I'm waiting on!

Are you putting the on/off switches in all of them now??

All of the buccaneer models will have them unless they have LEDs. The LED will occupy the space the kill switch is in so I have to find an alternate switch location for the Buccaneers with LEDs, that's whats holding up the LEDs unless I just make some without kill switchs.

Cappy quick question are you going to use a switch regulator in the vv when you put in leds??

I don't think so, they are much larger and more expensive and the only thing they provide as I see it is a small increase in battery life. Not worth designing a new box to incorporate it yet, that will be down the road a bit.

Are either one really necessary??

Not in my opinion, but I have to go with public demand, and the demanding voices are saying I have to install on/off switches and that setting the voltage by taste or using a multimeter is too hard and they have to have built in LEDs. Life would certainly be easier and I could make these much faster and cheaper without the extra work involved.

Hey cappy, I just remembered a thought I had awhile back on the LEDs. You made a comment about making the meters with a wood case becuase they didn't work the way you wanted or something. . You still gonna pursue that? I think I'd be game for a VV with a wood meter to screw on. Actually, I think that could be a kick azz selling point if it'd be easy for ya.

I'm not suggesting this as a fix for a kill switch, but would it work? Another mod uses a plastic disc that is placed between batt & connector as a kill switch. I'm not opposed to that in my silver key mod if it is easy to get in there and place it.

OMG, let me guess, its a'Mark-8 type-3 polymeric manual battery voltage delivery interrupt disc insertion system'

I would rather tell people to just unscrew the atty a turn or two, sounds easier. If it isn't easy with quick access, then people won't use it, and then why put it in at all imho.

I have toyed with that idea, it would not be that hard and you would then have a little meter that you could use with other mods as well. Pretty little boxes in exotic woods. Maybe I should make a few just to see if people would like them.

Nope  I guess more than one maker is using the plastic. Personally I don't leave batts in my mods unattended. If a batt is going to do something bad, will a kill switch save the mod? I don't understand the need if you have a spring?????

NOW yer talking!!!! I'd be game for one and then wouldn't have to wait for the LED VV. I like cocobolo, and other wild grained woods <hint, hint>

I am serious BTW!
