Hey AZ! Got a question. What's the name of the wood in your RSM that has the large inlay. I think it started with an "M" and sounded tropical to me:lol: Burly, swirly, ya know how I like it!

Melokia,I don't see it on the rsm site now,When I got it,Cap'n Brian was still mostly building the scallywag
I got the prototype 18650 box,I think it was the first 18650 box he sold

And a bump for the other available VV

Red Sky Mods - Home to pillage your mod!

Here's the latest one finished to replace the one grabbed off the website today, arrr

Oh yeah, to answer a couple questions again, the newer version of the Buccaneer now has an on/off switch located in the bottom end cap.

The catch cup it now has allows it to be used as either an upright feed or tilt & shoot. The only difference would be that the feed bottle has a tube running to the bottom of the bottle for upright feeders. Please specify which type you want or I will send it as tilt & shoot but include 2" of tube than can be inserted in the bottle to make it a upright feed system.

The atomizer connection no long has a tube projecting above the center contact and the center is now wired as positive. You may now use atty adapters and screw on voltage checkers. The voltage display may need an adapter to enable the connection to reach the bottom of the catch cup well though.

The next big sale will be during the 4th of July weekend, Yo ho ho!

Thanks tierrataz, I appreciate any help I can get!

I think I've sold almost a hundred of these so far and only have seen a couple reviews, perhaps I need to send mods to the guys out there on youtube who everyone seems to listen to :(

Oh yes, I'm actually sending them out as upright feeders by default. If you want tilt & shoot just pull the little tube out of the feed bottle. You can use the unused tube for more seals or whatnot. Play with it in the bathtub, tie them together and make a mini sling-shot.

Ey Cappy. Need some vid reviews for certain. Written ones too loaded with pics of the booty ;-)

Time to hit the rack, much experimentation to do on the morrow.

Aye, much to do. I just ordered the parts I need to make a dozen or so voltage display meters in exotic wood boxes. If it works as I think it will, solves my LED problem very nicely, Yarr!

It's a great day at sea!

Night all

Darn cappy, ya still topside? Can't shut down the brain either?

Quick ????

You going to build in the extension/tall adapter or carry them?
Have an idea yet of price point?

Wow, I missed all kinds of stuff last night!
Here's my:2c: I love a kill switch, it allows me to put my mod where ever I want, and I don't have to pull the battery or unscrew my atty, which I fail to do anyway. A switch is fast and easy.
A meter that is a separate device is fine, but a built in display is what looks so cool and appeals to those of us who like high tech stuff.
So knowing it is only worth actually .005 in this economy, there is my opinion!

Morning Cappy! moorning drott,fv!

Screw on meters are fine for quick checks but for day to day use they are a pita...
I think more people prefer them built in then having to have a separate box everytime
you want to change volts

They will have a built in long extension to fit down the catch cup and I would estimate the cost around 20 or 25 bucks
