Anything new up your pirates' sleeve?

Yarr! Several things, the most notable be me new heirloom quality, one of a kind, hand crafted peg-legs! Yo ho!

For those that don't have 'room' for a peg, we also offer quick relief of the offending foot with a special small cannon with the ships surgeon standing by with plenty o' bandages. Now you too can be walking proper with a salty dog "thump", just like yur Grandpa did!

Btw, the ships galley be serving 'beef' stew tonight .... Har har har! (yuck)

I'll pass on the peg, and take you up on supper, Captain. Sounds yummy.

Pass on the peg? Well, I suppose having TWO would just be silly, and if we get no customers today then we just be having 'gruel' as usual though....arrrr

I hope your batts arrive soon too. Ok, Off to the shop I go, maybe I will have something to show off tonight if I get a move on, even a work in progress pic or something.

Cappy are you working on the Cutlass yet?

Indirectly I am, but for now I have a large batch of Buccs that I'm moving up the ladder, once those are done I will go back to tweaking the Cutlass design. I'm taking it slow so I do it right the first time. :)

Top o' the mornin' to ya, mateys!! This be Flag Day, so what better flag to be flyin' than the ole Jolly Roger.... arrrrr!! pirate-flag.gif

Sweet SK.
Where are you in So Cal? I have brokers/ dealerships in Oxnard, Marina del Rey, and Shelter Island.
{Beneteau sailboats}

I live in Redondo Beach now (former home to 175 TONS of dead sardines... King-Harbor-Marina.jpg LMAO!!!), near the Pier and King Harbor... about 15 mi. S. of MDR.... but I lived in Hermosa Beach for most of my adult life. (and no, I didn't take that pic)

Fuzzy?

Well anyway, the potted plant behind the mod is in perfect focus.

Ha ha... very funny... and I had the Macro on, too!! Did I ever mention that I HATE digital cameras?? I'll take my old Pentax and a roll of B+W film any day... but it's so expensive now, and my favorite lab that I used for over 35 yrs. (and where I bought my film) sadly closed their doors... everybody is into instant gratification with the digital stuff now!!

Here is a pic I took of the clean-up at the Harbor... Rocks.jpg

But this is what I really saw in it... Rocks-Xa.JPG

Sounds like a plan! getting it right the first time saves much time and heartache later, my heirloom one-of-a-kind peg leg grandpappy
used to say....:)

Will there be grog with the stew?

Okey doke, I usually don't show process pics, they can be embarrassing, but this is a pic of the prototype Voltage display box before I do something with the edges and sand. Then a couple Buccaneers that have endured some experimentation with different styles and edging. I think I got a bit carried away at the spindle sander but they look interesting fer sure, arrrr

The voltage display boxes are taking longer than I anticipated, but you know me, I just can't force myself to do shoddy work :(

Btw, should I take down the length of the display box, or leave it long as shown? It will have a beefier more significant feel if I leave it longer, but I could loose probably a inch of length cutting off the excess on the ends. I'm mixed about it.

(My son suggests I leave it longer, he has big hands and said it would be easier to handle that way)

Honestly id maybe go in the middle somewhere. Shorten it a little but not too much. Is it going to have a in and a out? Meaning can we screw a atty on top?

Yup, it will have a 510 connector on the top so you can check voltage under load. The box will work with any new style Buccaneer and any other mod with center positive wiring (which is most).

Phew, I bet that could start or was smellin kinda ripe.
I had to haul out a 42s7 at the King Harbor boat yard a few years back. I know the area fairly well. Very cool place and well all of Southern PCH has always been on of my favorite areas. So lucky you, so much to do all the time. :D.
