Down the rabbit hole..
Ya know VV, when things get dark in rescue (and I know you understand the depression with ill ones, the burn out, etc.) I go out and lay on the grass with my fosters and let them about have their way with me. The energy and love they give is hard to put into words. Many think I am nuts to do rescue, but it is the most rewarding thing I have done in my life. It's always wonderful to have the playful happy go lucky personalities in foster care. The day I can no longer rescue is the day they will shovel dirt over me.

oh boy do I!...I thought I was the only one to roll in the grass with all my babies...nice to know there's someone else that feels the same..:)
I wouldn't trade the rescue/fostering for anything in the world..it has been the most rewarding thing I've done besides raise my kids..
To see an abused and frightened dog come to you and get healthy and trusting again and get the sparkle back in their eyes, to me,
is priceless! to get them a loving forever home is worth it all!!

Down the rabbit hole..
Reminds me of a "breeder" looking for a red male to breed her fawn BC to. No one would touch that one. Poor thing squinted in the sun. Can't imagine why people want to breed double recessives.....grrr.

That is so wonderful for Maddy. Paws crossed this is her family!

this breeder was proud to show me her and talk about the puppies she would get..I had to pay extra to get her to give her up!
I couldnt stand the thought of her life in a cage...

thanks I hope it works out too...I'll let you know..:)

I just checked a dead pair I have, one reads 3.57v, the other zero so thats the one that the PC cut out on. I think my Tr-001 charges them to about 4.22v. What voltage are you running yours at? Mine is usually about 4.5v.[/QUOTE]

Kinda been around the world, but settling in around 4.5-5V depending on the juice thus far.

Cappy, he will probably do something that will bring out what his name should be. Victor was "hey you" or "puppy" for weeks. Chose Victor when he won my heart, and because he looks like he is wearing a tux and needed something dignified.

Lol, exactly what were doing, he doesnt seem to respond to his own name anyway :D
