Down the rabbit hole..
There is a magnet attached to the back of the door for holding an adjustment tool.

I just received a bunch of mini-screwdriver bits today, but they are the wrong darn size! I don't know why I am having such a hard time part-sourcing a simple 1/8" slotted powerdriver bit? I have wasted so much time looking, including trips to Lowes and Home depot and stuck out.

That said, I will be sending out the doors with magnets, but not the stupid 50 cent bit that should be included with it, grrrr....

If anyone can find a supplier of a 1/8" flat-head (.125" or #2 slotted) power driver bit, please shoot me a link :(

Cappy ask Brad where he gets his tiny little screwdrivers....:)
I think the adjustment hole is just fine...easy to use and nothing to get in the way!... just my :2c:

Here for the allen key. Might have to cut long side to length. = PITA, but maybe not. + MOQ 100 @ .22 C apiece & not sure about shipping. .Allen 2MM SHORT ARM ALLEN WRENCH// MINIMUM ORDER QUANTITY (100) REQUIRED - 023-57118 - 023-57118 at Wares Direct

Except for a small batch I received from madvapes, all the adjustment pots on the circuit boards have philips type sockets in them. I have tried a whole bunch of philips head screwdrivers and none fit well which would tear up the plastic quickly. I found the 1/8" slotted screwdriver fit well and didn't warp the plastic screw head.

I ordered a bunch of them after talking to Brad, and they are perfect for the switching regulator but are too small for the one I currently have. I will throw them in a drawer for future use perhaps ;)

I'll be walking the plank at sunrise in the AM. Damn, more anchor chain wasted on Laz.

I was hoping to find something that looked like this, or shorter even. Small enough to fit inside the door and would just stick to a magnet without fuss. Has to be 1/8" Flat head / Slotted style tho.

1/8" (.125") is how wide the blade on the bit is.

There is a new tools-only outfit in the Ocala area I pass by on my way between Gainesville & St. Pete. I'll be there Sunday, I'll check for you. And I best take a magnet so I can lift a bunch... err... I mean my wallet so. Yeah. Umm. Yo ho. -Magnus

Yarrr, a couple requests for pics of the next few. I don't know why people like to see pics of the ladies before they have their makeup on, but here is 507-511 for yer viewing pleasure. They just had their first coat of sealer done.

I will post all the info about them later when they are complete, but off the top of my head they are Padauk, Wenge, Bocote, Chakte Viga and another Padauk.

P.S., the magnets hold the doors like that so the finish doesn't stick, it's not really magic. Trust me ;)

Are these the right size? Looks short enough. Don't know if it's good pricing.

Not the ones I wanted, but they do carry another type that would work fine, thanks!

I do not think they would arrive in time to go with this batch though, but I tried :(

Don't worry, I just wanted to be useful for once. Good to see new babies on the way, I'm stunned that the Macassar Ebony is still unclaimed for. Come on guys let's do our work and do what we are supposed to do...

Yeah, that kinda surprised me too, I sorta thought it would be the flagship of the fleet. If you click on the pic for a closeup you can see the awesome shading in the wood.
