I tried removing the excess wood from the one not a preorder, looking ok so far, but I'm gonna quit now and do it fresh tomorrow. Yeah, wood is not a problem, making you wait for another week would probably not please anyone.
Lets see if I can just route out the offending piece of wood before we turn ship and head back to port

But wait! If you are coming down from let's say Cappys default of 4.5 and if it says #39 it would be 3.39, would that really be a problem? I know, I know...........I'm just an old fart that screws my pot until it taste good. Be dam what the voltage "reads" mateys. Screw it until it taste good.
I've had VV mods for well over a year and very seldom check voltage. Taste for me is what matters.
My "older", and some current VV mods has no such LED readout.

if not there's bigger prob than led displays.
..I too seldom check voltage readouts except when doing atty or juice reviewsthen its a must...to let others know so its a fair review...

I agree, but its the principle I guess, if I am going to mount a LED, it should work as intended. It's no problem to expose the led digit by removing a bit of wood, my whole worry is if I can make it look as good as the rest of the mod.
Every time I see a lopsided squonk hole or crooked atty on a mod for sale I shudder inside. Yes, I am ocd about it, I know, but knowing your a perfectionist still doesn't stop you from practicing it, lol
