The only blue county in Texas!
Should I be pacing? My baby's in surgery!

Oh - and a question. Is my hardware stainless steel or nickel? Or one of each? I'm a bit confused on that cause I think I was just telling you silver. Duh.

Anyway, you asked earlier and I think I said yes to SS? That's the set with the larger catch cup right? If so, it's still yes! And I probably just confused things more.

Who's your Daddy! Arrrr!

The first prototype I fixed went just fine, so it can be done. I just have to wait for the finish to dry on the other 3 some more before I fix them too, whew..... well, let's not do THAT again, trying to be fancy ...oh my ...

I'm just happy it was discovered before I sealed up the voltage display, after that it would have been a nightmare.

Ok sorry to post and run, but back to work ... gotta also get ready for the next batch.

There is no Nickel plated shiny catch cup available I'm afraid, so yes, it will be Nickel plated shiny switch, SS catch cup. The SS switch matches the catch cup perfectly but the SS switch is not super shiny like the Nickel plated one.

Or, did you want the Stainless Steel switch that matches the Stainless steel catch cup? Perhaps I am a bit confused :D

Nope, I was confused! I'd like to do matching Stainless steel if I can! Thank you! I was thinking SS the whole time but I think I was telling you shiny and silver. Sorry!

And ~ yay! Surgery was a success! I'm so happy though sorry you had to have the added stress and pressure Cappy.

Heh, I asked the Commodore to pick me up another bottle of laquer that I am putting on the display face to protect it and she also bought me THESE! What for, I'm not sure ... anyone brave enough to want me to coat their voltage display with a protective layer of girly metal flake Purple or Green? har har har ....

Gotcha, and I have Shiny Nickel plated for Chet and Brian written down.

That's correct for mine.

Will do, actually I might dip the whole mod in the stuff, awesome ....

Haha! Nice Chet. What Chet forgot to mention is that he'd like the green glitter on his!

So... would one be able to still see the LED readout with glitter on it? I am not inherently opposed to glitter...

Dip Chet's in green, okey dokey!

Actually yes, quite easily. I made one I coated in black with a clear top coat. It is still readable but cuts down the glow in the dark use as a flashlight brightness of it.

My poor beautiful Ebony wood... coated in purple glitter! *sigh* Well, the Captain knows best.

For reals though, feel free to throw some purple glitter on the led if you want. I'm not opposed. If you think it'd look bad, I trust you.

No, I better not. I already tested the method to fill in the led hole with a darkened clear lacquer to dim the brightness, no telling what would happen if I used that cheap stuff she bought me. I could test it on a scrap piece and see how it looks tho.
