Oh hell... Then it doesn't matter does it!
I wasn't going to carry it around with atty installed on it anyway. Sticks out too much.
My problem solved!
So let me get this straight...
Up position is normal 3.7v mod with battery checking on LED.
But you can still use different batteries to make it into a 5 or 6v too, in case the vv board is too toasted to have the switch flipped?
Right, up position it is running directly off the batteries, 3.7v or 5v, or whatever combination you are using. Down is the VV position using dual batts.
I will repost this;
For those mods about to ship, here is the corrected operation of the two way switch and voltage display for the prototypes.
I forgot that when you check the battery you need to remove the atomizer or you will apply full battery power to the atomizer as well. Unscrew the atty when you check your AW IMR battery voltages in VV mode.
The display is activated in both modes with the main push button.
The switch in the Down position shows the voltage at the atomizer and should remain in this position when vaping using the VV circuit.
The switch in the Up position shows the output voltage of the batteries, do not have an atomizer connected when checking in VV mode. You may also use this position to Vape using an 18650 battery at 3.7V or any other battery combination you desire.
There is a center position of the switch that will turn them both off, but there is no 'indent' in the switch to let you know it is centered. Center the switch while pushing the fire button until the LED stops working to center the switch.
