Got my RSM today!!!!...................................... More bad news....DOA. This thing is gorgeous and the Captain does great work. It sound like he got a batch of bad wiring or something. This post is merely for sympathy Cappy does great work and has great customer service. I am just soooo bummed I wanted to try these new everythings (juice, attys,RSM, VV) and I got click,,,nothing. I wouldnt be surprised if it is user error. The batteries are brand new and went from red to green over last night I dont have a tester or anything to confirm that they are good.... I just dont know what else it could be. SIGGGGGHHHHHHHHH

The only blue county in Texas!
Have you tried to adjust the screw at all for the voltage? It can be turned down so low that it won't work. Not that I would know anything about that...

How many sets of batteries do you have? Could also be a battery issue even though they went from red to green. Have you tried it in both vv and regular mode?

I have to think it's a switch problem. These are small switches but they are 6 amp. They need to be clicked HARD to make good contact.

p.s., I'm also wondering if that last wax & buff may have gotten a bit of dust in them, maybe clicking them back and forth a bunch of times will clear them out? Arrrrgggggg.....

We are set to sail!!! the switch problem indeed here is my pm to cappy
Cappy,

It worked after the 6th cycle!! So it was the switch indeed....and something else. It was very interesting what happened next.... So without my atomizer after cycling it 6 times the Leds light up nice and bright!! So I attached my atty and then....nothing. After messing around a bit I would have it on and lit screw on my atty while pressing button a slight fire and then blank and no vapor... I bought 2 of these items at 2.8 ohms from vapage AMG Hybrid - Bottom Feeder Atomizer (2-Pack) so 4 attys total. one pack had this effect on the Cutlass the other vaped like a champ. Further inspection of these led me to notice that 2 had carto filler inside and 2 didnt. the 2 with the filler worked and the two without did not....I am going to post this to the thread and see if I can get some help. But thank you it is now smooth foggy seas. Ill try to post pictures of my lady and the attys.

Any clue,,,anybody? did vapage ship two without finalizing some finishing touches on them. the two with tubes and carto filling work great!

Could be a bit too much voltage on a new atty. They require a break in like all other attys. Also there was a CQ issue on those first run hybrids. You might notice the coils are all bunched up to one side. COV is clearing them to make room for the new & improved run of hybrids. The coils on these new BF ones is very even, and centered. Also the venturi is smaller to address the center post issues.

Just got 4 COV hybrid 2.0 attys... One popped full of juice at 4.3 volts and the other is performing terrible.... Heads up I am have terrible luck with COV hybrid attys.. I beginning to understand why they are 5 bucks a piece.

I put 5 drops of juice in it before I fired it. 4.3 is nothing on a 2ohm atty... And the second one I put on my provari to check ohms also put 5 drops in it... Most attys I have purchased in the past 5 drops and its a fog machine..... I think I gonna go with the IKvape 801 510 connector attys when they get them back in stock.... I have about 20 old attys that have been cleaned, just saying the COV ones are turds so far. Its also not worth the hassle to ship then email and all that stuff... Just wont purchase COV attys anymore.

I would like to also say that I have been using the same set of 18350s since yesterday almost 24 hours... Awesome battery life on this RSM i was swapping a battery every 6 hours with my provari.
