I prefer making coils on the rm2 for sure! The hornet is nice though. Has a tighter draw, and it's really been working well in the short time I've been using it. If I can get a brassed milled rm2 for it, it will be perfect.

I have the Cyclone and really like it. It is harder to build than the RM2 but it is much nicer looking in stainless, smaller profile and vapes almost as good. It was the first rba I got for my Reo. I'd like to get the cap with the air control so I could play around with airflow. I'm not comfortable drilling out an RM2.

The AFC top cap is very nice but it is too big for the Reo drip well.
I sanded it with 800 grit, wiped it down with acetone, gave it two coats of Krylon BBQ paint and let it cure in my oven set to 200 for 2 hours.
I don't expect it to hold up forever, but it's easy and quick enough to do that I won't be annoyed when the time comes to paint it again.

Glad I could be of assistance. I do enjoy the top cap, just not on the Reo
. Some here in reoville have widened their drip wells to accommodate larger drippers. It would scare the heck out of me to even begin to attempt something like that.

Black cap would look really fine on my "Spiffy Dude" or many others. Picture is Black Anodized but would look so fine on all Black Wrinkle 2.1 and others. Home Depot trip coming up. (BTW.... Spiffy Dude and Trippy had just taken a 10ft dive onto rocks below right before pic taken. Can we say "LUCKY"!!!!!!!!)
