I'm on the verge of purchasing a Reo (a grand, most likely) and what I want to know is how simple can it be? I basically want one because I much prefer dripping to any other form of vaping I have tried, and I want to be able to get that experience on the go. I like things simple and it's what I miss about cigarettes. All I needed was a pack of Parliaments and a lighter and I was good to go. Can you get a Reo, batteries, charger, a few bottles and atomizers and be good to go? I don't want to mess with RBA's, kicking, or even VV. I realize a lot of people enjoy tinkering with their vaping hardware and that's totally cool, I just am not one of them. So again, can a Reo be a simple, low-maintenance device and still deliver great performance?

I just wish that Reo had a more loyal, enthusiastic following ;)

Hahahaha! It almost IS too good to be true.....which is WHY Reo has such a loyal, enthusiastic following. I don't know what PV you're used to, but prepare to be blown away. You'll wonder why you didn't get one earlier. It's a game-changer.

Just to let you know how i operate...I'm a trueblue "doubtfull nellie"....and if i hear a statement about anything that says " if it's too good to be true, it must not be true"...I run for the hills.

I'm now the proud, grateful owner of five reos.. two mini 2.1's, two vv's. and one woodville. Simplicity, ease of use, awesome vaping flavor, virtually indestructable, and a maker of these mods that is exemplary in his honesty and willingness to help in any way any Reo owner.

Welcome!

I started with a simple Smokeless Image volt setup. I got tired of cartomizers quickly. Got an ego-twist and a vivi nova. HATED the nova!! When I ordered the ego/nova I also ordered some Joye 510 atomizers to give dripping a try. Dripping was exactly what I was looking for as far as flavor, but it's pretty hard to drive a car and drip juice onto an atty.

Look at that, my 100th post!

It is pretty awesome to see an owner so involved with the community.

Awesome, this is what I was hoping to hear and exactly what I'm looking for. I guess I wanted to make sure it wasn't too good to be true.

I always missed the simplicity of regular cigarettes. So I was very cautious when I got my first REO (a mini). I carried backups for everything, but in the end, I never need them. I'm retired so I'm at home most of the time, but these days, I don't hesitate to hit the road for 6-10 hours without a thought about my grand. Old habits die hard, I guess, so I carry a spare battery, spare juice bottle and spare atty, but I've never needed any of them.

So, I have a grand, with an RM2 atomizer (from REOsmods as well). I'm heading into week 4 on this coil and wick, so, although it looks like rebuilding an atty is extra trouble, it's really not. Between the REO grand, RM2 RBA, and switching to unflavored nic juice, it's actually simpler than regular cigarettes, and you don't even need a lighter :) :) :)

You seem to be a minimalist, that doesn't want vaping to be a hobby, just something to do to keep your hands busy when you want to. You won't be disappointed.

My only regret in all of this vaping stuff is that I waited so long to get a REO. Congratulations on a good choice and welcome to vaping like it ought to be.

Thank you!

I am a minimalist on the hardware side of things, the hobby part of it for me is the juices. I'm really getting into naturally extracted tobaccos... Never cared about flavor with cigarettes, but I'm really enjoying it with vaping.

One more question... the grand uses 6ml bottles, do they work as well filled halfway as they do all the way? I like to switch flavors quite a bit...

They do indeed, although admittedly, the last 1/10th of the bottle you'll have to squonk a bit harder. You can also periodically swap flavors by just dripping a few drops of something new into the catchcup. It will get drawn up into the atty, and you can do that as long as you want, redripping just as you would with a regular dripping atty. When you stop dripping into the catchcup, just start squonking again and you'll be back to the original flavor in a couple of vapes (assuming, of course, one of the flavors isn't something like "Old Socks on Steroids" :) )

You can use it as a dripper also, but a better way is get some xtra bottles and just swap them. And yes they work half full right down to the bottom. I have a RM 2 its so EZ. Get one you won't regret it !!! LOOK at all the money you save. (LOL)

Maybe down the road... I do remember saying that a Volt was all I was ever going to want or need.

A far easier way of switching flavors is just to have another Reo loaded with your fav flav... and then another one ......
