In the land of no hills and red dirt
Friend of mine is my first vaping convert, turned him at a Christmas Party in 2009, back in the Before Reo era of vaping. He went on to silver bullets and other tube mods, but finally started asking about Reos a month or two ago.

He took the plunge a couple of weeks ago, but isn't a member of ECF.

Five hours after he got his hands on his Grand, I get an email: "Thanks, Clyde! I'm LOVING this thing! I never realized what a PITA dripping is before now!"

I rest my case.

My Grand is scheduled to be delivered to day and I'm not going to be home to get it. GRRR!

They will leave a little slip. You can sign it and put it back in the mail box or take it to the P.O. and pick it up.

I signed mine and put in the date they should deliver. They just left the package the next day instead when I was away.

So, be sure you really want them to just leave it if you sign the form.

if you go to the post office to pick it up, call first and make sure the mailman is back with the package and is not out still on his route...

Yeh...this is what I do. Instead of calling, I just take my slip to my post office about 10 minutes before they close. All the mailmen are back by that time, and I'm always able to pick up my package. If you go too early, it'll still be out and about on some mail truck. :) If you sign the slip and leave it in your mailbox (don't do that unless you have to!!) it'll be an EXTRA day because they (mine, anyway) will pick up the slip tomorrow then bring the package back the next day.

Bottom line: skip that stupid meeting, go get that slip, beat it to the P.O. and DEMAND that package. You will have a wonderful evening.

A Grand with a LR 510 atomizer is a fine vape.

A Grand with a RBA is even better. I'd say, for me, it was the same experience I had when I switched from cartos to attys.

Being able to easily replace a wick and coil for a few pennies rather than dip into a stash of $5 to $9 disposable attys (that may or may not vape worth a damn) is a no brainer.

Take advantage of the wonderful options available to you that weren't available when I started vaping in 2010. Get yourself some Kanthal, Silica, and an RM2. The atty and the juice are the weak links in getting the best vape possible from a Reo Grand. Rob took care of the atty issue. The juice is another can of worms.

Hey Mudflap,
I see you are from Tyler, Tx. That's my stomping grounds. I am from Big Sandy. Both my kiddos were born in Tyler. I still go every month to take Mom to Dr in Tyler.
My next purchase will be a Reo Grand. Already have 2 Reo Mini 2's and one Mini. Waiting for the bright yellow. Already clicked the notify me link :)
