REOSMODS.COM and the PayPal E-check Blues

I managed to score a Grand on Friday, logged into PayPal for the payment/checkout and noticed they had pre-selected E-check. I clicked "change" and all the payment options were greyed out, except E-check.

I wasn't about to risk losing my Grand so I went ahead with it, however now I (and Rob) have to wait for it to clear - which can take up to 2 weeks!

Did anyone else experience this, and is there anything I can do about it? I've ordered from the site before, and was able to select bank or CC, not this time.

Edit: Solved. Like within the hour of posting this (5 minutes after PMing), Modmaster Rob is in with the fix. Cheers buddy

That sucks, I've ordered 5 mods from Rob and never had that happen.

Most times I have had enough in my PP balance to cover it though. If not the whole amount at least a partial ... wonder what went wrong.

Yeah this is my 4th Reo, never had an issue. Default method is bank transfer, with Visa as secondary. Nothing is expired, out of date, or maxed etc. Between clearing this damn echeck and Canadian shipping I won't see my Grand for like a month - WEAK.

I had that happen once on an e-bay transaction, don't remember now why it happened, but I do remember that it didn't take 2 weeks to clear. Next time you make a paypal transaction, don't forget to check and correct it, I remember that I didn't do that and had to wait on my next transaction also.

Usually I can select the payment method, instant bank transfer, credit card, or echeck. They were all greyed out, nothing I could do...

This happened once before, I made a payment and the confirmation email said "you just sent an echeck" - I was like wtf? At the time I didn't know you could select a method, so that was my fault, and it DID take 2 weeks to clear, possibly cuz I'm in Canada. US banks may be faster since PP is American.

i've never had that happen with paypal...........unless the person only accepts echecks.
I know when people on ebay have sent me an echeck it takes like 6 days to clear.
