I am a happy new owner of a Revolver iGO/808 battery. It's a fat bat with a 5-click turn-on/turn-off feature and an adjustable voltage range from 3.3 to 4.8 volts. I don't know if it's regulated or not, but I guess if the voltage is adjustable, it must regulated to some degree. At 1300 maH, it runs a really long time - more than a day at the rate I vape. Pretty nice features for a relatively inexpensive price. The only downside for me is that it's huge: about the same diameter as a go-go (5/8 of an inch), but even longer at around 4.25 inches. With a standard KR808D carto, total length is a little over 6 inches which isn't exactly pocket size, but fine for around the house or in the car. I guess there's also a 650 mah version which I'll probably try. It looks to be the same diameter, but shorter, so it might fit in a pocket, though probably still bulky.
It works really well with the of combination carto (MF) and liquid I'm using. Interestingly enough, I found that the 3.3v setting seems to work best for my carto/liquid combination, even though that's lower than a standard KR808 battery (I didn't measure the actual voltage).
Hmmm. Almost sounds like an advertisement :). No, I'm not a vendor nor do I have any ties to any.

Advertisement looking thread.
I did say it sounds a bit like an advertisement, although that was not the intention. I considered not posting it just for that reason. I checked the rules and the post didn't seem to break any of them, although that's always a matter of interpretation.
How else does one post something positive about something they bought and liked? I'm up for suggestions.

It's a joke.
You're fine.

I just got my kit yesterday in the mail as way, just before I was about to hop into the car and go away for the night to a friends Xmas part. I'm very happy with it, I'm pretty new to vaping, so the Volt X2 was my previous number 1 PV. The 1300mAh battery is actually about a 1/2" shorter than my 1100mAh X2, and slightly larger diameter.

I got home a few hours ago, charged it to full capacity and just threw it on my Voltmeter and Osilliscope to see the numbers. I tested voltages at each marked setting 3.3, 3.8, 4.3 and 4.8V with a variety of Resistances.

First with no head (infinite resistance) the voltage was straight DC until I got to 4.3V where it showed a sawtooth. Voltage was a little below the setting 3.14V at 3.3, 3.51V at 3.8 ... DC reading on the voltmeter was 4.29V at 4.3 amd 4.86V at 4.8 settings.

I then tested the different voltages with 2.5, 2.9 and 3.5 ohm heads and the voltages were consistent throughout. (I didn't have a LR Clearo setup, so I didn't check that.)

Basically with any resistance the voltage under load was very consistent, and the signal was flat DC under load as well.

SettingVoltage
3.33.07
3.83.46
4.34.05
4.84.66

Those are basically the averages I got for voltages but there was very small variation, I'll attribute it more to the analogness of the voltage dial than the circuit not being able to provide the power. So basically the true range is something like 3.0 to 4.7 V

The dial actrually goes just a bit past 4.8V, and stops dead on 3.3 at the low range. I tested it at the max range and it doesn't push past 4.67V.

All in all I'm very happy with it.

I just ordered 2 of the kits, a few extra heads for the clearos and a few extra clearos. I'm totally stoked about this. Maybe this will kick smokeless image in the .... and they'll come out with one soon. How well do these clearo's work? Are they true vision brand or a knock off?

I like SI, my first mail order was with them. I only bought one juice, but it is one of my favorite of the 30 something I've tried. I know they're going to have an 808 Kanger t3 coming soon, and I hope to see them get the changeable heads on their clearos. Who knows, maybe they'll get a VV someday too. The only 2 I've found are the V4L and NHaler, so there should be more.
