Any suggestions for # of wraps with reo + rba 2 and 32ga on 1/16th bit?

It would depend on the resistance you are looking for. If you want a 1.5-2.0 ohm coil, then you would probably be in the 6-9 wrap area. Most people who use a 1/16" drill bit are using a bit thicker gauge wire. If you are wanting lower resistance, you will probably need to get thicker wire.

Heres a little pic i drew in autoCAD of a top view of one of my RM2s. It was drawn to scale and thats 10 wraps of 27 ga wire around a 17 ga needle. Next time I get really bored, I'll draw the front elevation :)

Great drawing! I hope you didn't do it as a challenge to my last comment on your first drawing of non squeezed microcoil drawing! :)
Must have had some time on your hands or should I say hand singular with that new "woody" in the other! :)

Nah, I usually use the program to do construction documents for commercial buildings. I just felt like screwing around one night :)
It's all good :)

I want to order a RM2 now that I've started to fall out of love with the shorties. Of course, I have already gotten rid of all my wire, original reomizers, an era, and the little ohm meter box thingie. :glare:

I was getting decent results with my coils, but am excited to try some of the micro madness. I read somewhere to use an oring to align the airhole...the reomizer oring or the oring from the cap of a Grand feed bottle?

Also, I really liked the airy draw of the original Reomizer, and know some of you are drilling out the RM2's. Is the draw tight as it comes? If it is a tight draw would somebody volunteer to drill it out for me? :nun:

I have cotton, so a RM2, some 30 gauge wire, and the correct oring should get me going again, right?

Thanks in advance.

I don't use the o-ring to line up the hole so don't know about that for sure.

The draw is not tight. It is just right for me, the same size as the Reomizer.

Don't forget to pick up a atty ohm meter. The 30 gauge wire should be good.

I think you will love the micro coils. They really do make a difference.

I think the size o-ring you need (or don't need, it could line up perfectly for you without any ring) to line up the airhole just kind of depends. Try the one that comes with the RM2 and if it doesn't work try a different one.

As far as the draw, I wouldn't describe it as extremely airy, but it's not extremely tight either.

The airhole needs to be at the top of the drawing SXD posted, for no other reason than it helps the draw and stops your flavours being muted. I typically don't use an o-ring, because my caps all seem to screw on with that alignment.

You can use the o-ring that the RM2 is shipped with and it is placed between the base and top cap of the atty if you need to use it.
