I have a multimeter, but it's not digital. Would it be ok to test the coil on one of my Vamos once it is built?

I'm using the VAMO for ohm reading, somehow my multimeter stopped reading resistance at its lower limit (200 ohms)
above .8 ohms, the Vamo and the provari are always a match or within .1 ohm when reading though

If that is a micro coil, you're probably around 0.8 ohm. Go for 8 - 10 wraps maybe, try and see. Lower your coil more to the floor for more flavour and less throat hit. Make sure your airhole is aligned with your coil.
What size are the screws in the rm2? Mine are stripping out on top and I'd like to get some new ones.

So late to the party, but you sir OP are a genius! I built my first coil a little while ago, got the alignment all proper and what not... Best vape I have ever had! Didn't think I could love my Bounty Hunter any more than I already did... but I do!

At the beginning of the thread, there was a lot of discussion about making sure the air hole was lined up with the coil and the only fix mentioned was using a bigger o ring if it wouldn't align. Last night the wife figured out another way to to get them to align. If the air hole will not align with the coil, unscrew the cover and rotate it 45 degrees or so and screw it back on. Keep doing that until it is aligned and no need for the larger o ring.

got it set up on the Rm2!
Wrapped 28 gauge wire 10 times on a safety pin, small size, 1.3 ohm coil.
Put the legs through the wire holes as normal, BUT once the legs are in even, shift the entire coil over (away from the juice feed hole) so the opening in the coil is as close to the wall as possible.
I used Peaches and cream yarn for the wick. Take a 2 inch length of the yarn, and tie a girth hitch around the coil so the ends of the yarn go under the coil.
Here's the somewhat tricky part. Keep the safety pin in and apply pressure so the wires remain taut. Snug the girth hitch down so its tight all around the coil.
Trim the ends and slightly push them under the coil.

ok a few questions ... i am not sure if i am using to much cotton ... i leave about 1/2" on each side of the coil and gently push the excess down and around into the bowl area ... but not obstructing the coil ...
i do notice that i often times end up with to much juice inside the RM2 and have to just dab some excess off every now and then ...
is it retaining to much of it because of the amount of cotton i use?
