Thought I'd throw these up.

First pic is the Maxi Roughstack v2, eGo 1000mAh, 30ml juice, 18650 battery

Looks like you got your candy cane. That's good news. And fast too, if your location is accurate. It was only 9 or 10 days ago madvapes had it off the site. Not bad going from out of stock to shipped to AU in that amount of time.

Excellent photos, btw.

Man, I love my Roughstack. I've had it for two days so far (still on my 1st charge)… today it was pretty wet out and there were a few times that I grabbed my ego either because I was slightly paranoid about a perfectly irritating raindrop going into my RS switch or because my tobacco juice was starting to hit particularly hard and I wanted to offset it with something light and fruity… but damn… the RS is awesome so far.

I do have a few concerns about my usage because I'm, again, paranoid, and because I gave one to my girlfriend and I want to make sure that she doesn't develop any issues with it that I didn't anticipate.

I can't decide on the adapter question. Madvapes was out of the 510 to 510 long extension, so I picked up some ego threaded 510s and a few of the tiny sealed 510s. I was thinking an adapter would be convenient for my gf to screw cartos on and off of the adapter (which I figured could be considered permanently attached to the RS) as she wanted to change flavors without having to worry about the battery connector. She tends to tighten things as hard as she can, and I want to preserve our battery connections for as long as possible, since I'm under the impression that the replacement switch is unrelated to the connection.

The little 510 to 510 doesn't really give you any finger purchase, though. Hers has the ego extension on it, which I think probably makes the switch clearance a bit more annoying. I've been screwing the tiny sealed connector onto my fluxomizer and then gently screwing that onto the RS every time I want to change flavors. Am I over-thinking this? Should I ditch all of the adapters until I have a connection issue?

I went to about five spots today looking for some kind of leatherman holder that would let me stick my RS in my pocket, but I can't find anything. At all. Nothing even vaguely appealing. Where the hell do they sell high end flashlights, because I feel like that was my best bet at the beginning, and I still can't think of a better product with dimensions comparable to a tube mod.

I was also looking for a collapsible 'hot spring' to replace the standard one that sits at the negative end of the battery… but apparently no one working with electrical gear has ever heard of or seen stocked such an item. Has anyone bought the replacement hot spring that goes into a Helix and cut it down to size into their RS? Would it even do anything to help a shorted protected Li-Ion 18650, or is that only an IMR that heats up like that?

Sorry about the length.

This may sound far fetched, but I have several for my PVs, go to a gun store or online, look for the nylon magazine carrier, Mine fits perfect in a single stack 1911 magazine holder......of course I have a bunch of those around here anyway. The nylon ones usually run around $8-10 in my area.

Although the bodies are interchangeable I don't think the short ones are sold individually. If you contact Madvapes ( I guess through a service ticket?) they might sell you one though. If you like your Maxi, you just might want to get a regular RS so you can always have two going. That's what happened to me - started with a Maxi, ended up with one of each (so far). Hope you enjoy your new vaping machine!

I appreciate it..
Not sure that I thought that one thru. I think I will just buy a regular (non maxi) one if it really comes down to it.

You guys (and girls) take your maxis with you when you go out? ...like restaurants and bars and so on?
I have seen plenty of you-tubage on them, but still trying to get a handle on how big this thing is.

If you leave the maxi @ home, I would love to know what yr mobile unit is... I have 808's at the moment.

My RS is for working or being places that might be damaging to my other PV's. When I go out I take my eGo or Lea.
