I had a little nic overload yesterday from enjoying my Defcon to much. This morning the flavor taste is even better. I did put tape over half of my hole and will get some JB later today.
I have no clue what so ever what process it takes to make these things. But thank you very much for figuring it out for us to enjoy. I would like to get a mini next.

Yes nothing is glued unless it has a slight give to it.No glue comes in contact with the inside of the tube so its all safe.Everything else is press fitted.

I am thinking about ordering one of the minis, but had a question, I read a few people saying they needed to find a drip tip to fit, any suggestions on which tips work best with this, or is it more a matter of modding the tip like the one person posted on using the tape under the o ring?

just got home and there it was waiting for me... this thing is awesome.... but still getting to the learning curve because some times I dont get a lot of vapor but I fix that put it it upside down for a couple of seconds... also had to put a little bit of tape on the hole to make the draw harder....But his is the best atty I ever had.. thank you Chopper for a great job
Received mine today also, taped hole to minimize air, very little vapor. I only have Ego batteries, so I wonder if it has to do with the amount of wraps of the wire...
i'm sure chopper will be around later to help - he's a night owl, lol!
vapor production also depends on the juice but if you were satisfied before with your atty or cartos it might be a matter of ohms

If you are using a 3.7v device, I would not go more than a 4 or 5 wrap at most
If you are getting to much TH and little vapor, hold your device at about 2 o'clock or 3'oclock when you vape. Gravity is king and will help the wicking
Make sure you do not have a short anywhere, check to make sure that the electrodes are not touching the wick in any way.

Ok everyone I have modded mine not much thou. I shorten the cap by about half a inch and made a new hole smaller than what chopper had in it. I made a new coil to just made 3 raps on the wick and I have my lavatube set to 3.5 and it is so good. I tried taping the hole alittle it worked for alittle while but it started making this annoying whistling sound so I made some changes. But as a vaper I am use to adjusting something for my taste.
Removed one wrap down to three, taped hole, vapor production up! Tweak city now...
Had to put the one wrap back on, getting burning taste and burning in throat. Vapor production back down, but taste is pretty good!

Okay I'm back home with slew of questions so I will try and address each on here.So that way no one thinks I'm trying to hide anything.Some that have gotten the DC is finding out the metal shell will pull off the inner tube.I did not use any type of sealer or glue to try and keep that from happening.I did not because of safety issues and did not want to use any then something go wrong with that.Even though the glue would not come in contact with anything having to do with the juice or the inside of the juice tube.So I believe I'm going to super gel the metal sleeve onto the tube just at the base.I did it to mine and no issues at all and no strange taste or fumes of any kind.
Second.........wicking problems can stem from a variety of things.How tight or loose your wicks are or if they are properly oxidized.If you are getting a monster throat hit and hardly any vapor that means its over wicking,too much juice is getting through.Just pinch closed the top of the wick where the hole is and that will help with that.Maybe sj74 can chime in here and tell you more he has more experience in this then me.
Third......Air holes.....I found and bought some smaller drill bits.I was using a 1/16 bit and now I have 3/64 for a medium draw and a 1/32 for a tighter draw
Drip tip holes have now been re bored and tips will fit better.Ive tried 3 different 510 tips and all three fit with no problem.
All DC mini's are being shortened by cutting the metal tube shorter and the top.They will now be 2 1/4 inches long and will hold roughly 2ml of juice.In order to make them smaller juice level had to be sacrificed sorry for this but it is what it is.Even with cutting just the top cap down its still monster long.The ones that have sent me a PM about making their order shorter I have you down.The ones that sent me a PM stating they are okay with the longer one I have you down as well.
There will be some bugs I'm sure here and there,don't get upset.Its something can and will be worked out.I will take care of each and everyone of you that may have a problem.No matter how big or small it is.
