Hi everyone S&S mods are now open for business.I'm starting this very small and hope to have it grow with more mods and things.Right now I'm just selling my version of a rebuild able atty named the DefCon.I'm sure some have seen the similar ones floating around.Mine are all hand made at my home by myself.I will be taking small orders of 10 at a time. These are made to order,so when you order one and pay I will then make it and ship when its complete. These are very nice units and work very well. They are made of Stainless Steel and I use .999 pure sterling silver for the electrodes along with either 400 or 325 Stainless Steel mesh and Kanthal A 32 awg Resistance Heating Wire. The DefCon can hold approximately 3.5ml of liquid and has been tested for leaks with no evidence of any.Right now I have two different types,Black and Stainless and I can also add a Blue Led light if wanted.I will have more color choices at a later date and other color of LED lights as well.It will come to you fully ready to just add juice and vape.

I'm currently working on something I call the DefCon Atom which I hope will make it through all the testing.I will put up temporary pictures of the DefCon now,but will post better ones later today.

Price for the DefCon is $55 shipped and comes with a 510 drip tip of my choice two extra pre oxidized wicks and some of the Kanthal wire.
For a extra $2 you can have a LED light installed.I only can accept PayPal right now with no mention of Ecig related stuff.I will offer a 10 day money back
guarantee or a replacement if anything should happen to the DefCon as a result of the way its built.Orders are to be taken by PM only and please use the word DefCon in the subject box. It's my wish to make you all a low cost rebuild able atty that works very well and looks nice to boot.If I have left anything out please inform me and I will fix it.Thank you and take care.

REVIEW OF THE DEFCON

I received my DefCon yesterday and wanted to post an honest review of the product.
I tested this on the following devices (see pics above)
Provari Mini
Bogger Box
TOX Cannon (LT)
HEX mini

1) Ease of use - I discovered that filling the DefCon was as easy as unscrew the top cap, syringe down where the wick is you know you are in the tank and fill. Up and running in under a minute.

2) Production - the DefCon fires on all 3.7v devices at 4 wraps with 32g kanthal. And produces as much vapor as my Genesis LV (the juice is a factor 50/50 PG/VG mint blend). If you have a good wicking juice the DefCon will produce clouds.

3)Range - Provari / VV users, I was able to fire the DefCon without issues with a 4,5,7 wrap as low as 3.5v up to 5.5v. The provari will 'E1' however if the DefCon is fit to tightly onto the device. Do NOT overtighten the DefCon onto your device. From what I can tell, if the bottom of the DefCon touches the top cap of the provari drip well it creates a short and the provari will 'E1'. Native 3.7v devices, no worries it works, and works well.

What I like:
It holds a lot of juice in a small form factor.
The Defcon is not as large as it may appear in pics, it is also slender and lightweight so you dont feel top heavy on your device.
Easy to wrap a coil
Easy to fill
The DefCon did NOT leak
The DefCon did NOT create a vacuum inside the tank to prevent wicking

What are possible improvements?
510 drip tip is a little loose, maybe tighten the hole for a more snug fit
Threads for the top cap grind a bit (fixed with noalox)
Would like to see the top cap rounded more, only for asthetics

Summary:
SS mesh does wick well, but you may have to do a tilt to 2 or 3 o'clock to keep the wicking process in motion (gravity always rules)
Do not overtighten on a provari or any VV device that may "think" there is a short if the bottom of the DefCon comes in contact with the top cap
Juice will always be a factor for a good or bad vaping experience
:toast: to Chopper on designing an affordable and easy to use rebuildable product.

Star rating? I am going to go 4 stars, it is functional, it is easy, it holds a lot of juice.

GREAT JOB CHOPPER!!!! CONGRATS

Good morning all......I will be post some how to instructions later on today.I have a Dr.'s appointment today that I absolutely cannot miss.ECF member sj74 is my go to guy on here.So if you have any questions he has said its okay for you to PM him as well.He is my moderator on here and I'm trying to make that official.I will do whatever in my power to make each and every one of you happy with your purchase or just answering any questions you may have.Even if you don't purchase one and just want to chat, well I'm here for you.

Please remember I'm a one man show making these and they do take some time.I will get them made and shipped just fast as I can.As I said I DO NOT and WILL NOT skip out on quality to make a fast dollar,I'm not built that way.I respect each and every one of you and without you and your support this little adventure would not happen.Member sj74 and Karla Lyle have been a very big help to me.Please all I ask is to be patient with me on the first few batches until I can come up with a good working system.I'm trying to get enough stock in to where there won't be a need for a list, but is hard to do when its just one person doing it.

Here is a video on the Genesis Line that will show you how to make the wicks and wrap your coil. The DefCon is done in the same exact way and its how I do it.This is one of the videos that I learned from. Also its my suggestion that until you can learn how many wraps for your coil gives you what ohms.To stick with the wrap that the DefCon comes with and use just at 3.7 if using a VV.Any 3.7 PV you will be just fine.Once again thank you all very much.....

I will probably want one next month. Cash flow ya know.
Will there be insructions with this? I never had anything rebuidable, I don't want to take a chance on screwing anything up.

I'm working on printable instructions to send with them.Or I may just do a video and send a DVD.

Chopper will be posting some "how to's" later today. I can also work on putting together a User Guide PDF with pictures that Chopper can send with a purchase.
