I'm going to town tomorrow and pick up some small syringe needles. What I'm going to do with them is cut them about 3/8 inches long and insert the sharp end of the needle into the top of the silicone plug to help equalize the pressure inside. This would aid in the wicking process. These will be put into any and all future DC's.Be very careful if you have one already please be careful if you want to do this yourself, meaning don't poke yourself with the needle and not to push the plug to far down the inner tube.

I took mine apart and let it sit to test for leaks - none occurred. Flipped the ring anyway.... I suspected this might be the case; my problem is condensation in the cap. I'll have to experiment with draw technique to minimize this, or maybe find a way to seal the top edge of the tube to the sleeve.
It was interesting to see how it was put together. Someday I might try to make one myself :)

chopper - since there is definitely a learning curve involved with those rebuildables i'm dropping a link here, and in the support threads, to what is, imo, the best video ive come across so far on prep.

Genisis Line - Setup - YouTube

this is one of the best and most detailed videos i have come across

I got it from the first batch it came with 2 coils and I drove back home to get them for her so they are the ones Chopper sent with it. It is to tall for my liking only reason I let it go. I sold it for 55 plus I threw in a full sheet of mesh and some wire too.
It's got an ss wick someone made for her in it. She said she couldn't do it herself because she didn't have a torch.

amber, with a rba you'll have all kinds of options!
look at this thread
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...-wick-materials-safe-vs-dangerous-25.html#top
those are the cotton wicks and some people are really happy with them! i know one owner of the defcon tried it, loved it and promised us pics but has not been back.

and if peace included some mesh you can try doing your own. the needed measurements are toward the beginning of this thread.
