hey everyone,

I picked up a sapor last week as well as my eVic TC by joyetech and so far I am pretty impressed with both. My only issue is the post spacing on my .3 ohm 26 guage kanthal builds, it seems like I have to make the leads a mile long to get my coils to sit in the center of the deck and airflow inlet. Is anyone having this problem? I haven't been building long but it seems like there might be an easier way to build on this deck, it is just not coming to me. Thanks in advance.

These were my thoughts on the Sapor:

With an apparent temperature of 110 Saturday I stayed in and built the Sapor. 26 ga dual coil, .44 ohms. Building was fairly easy for me (since I used the hex screw driver thingy I got.) The fit and finish of the atty are fine, feels not quite as solid as others. No leaking. Fairly good amount of liquid before re-filling.

I started out with the included wide bore and the air holes wide open. Bore was too wide for me and the flavor was skinny. I switched to the regular tip and put the air holes at 3/4 open. Good flavor, decent amount of vapor. A little hard to turn the top cap to get the right setting but, that's just a niggle.

Overall, it's a good device for the price. I don't think it's better than the Vector or royal hunter or Marquis. It's average to me but, nothing negative stood out. If you're not looking to drop a bundle and want an adequate vape it's a pretty good deal.

I'm horrible getting coils to sit perfectly centered in nearly every RDA I have running. I actually had pretty good luck with this one. I don't think it matters a whole lot if off center by a smidgen with this atty. it has become my fav by far.

@Steelgirl I think I might need to pull mine up a little bit more but I don't know for sure. Honestly my vape/flavor production is about the same if not slightly worse then my Subtank mini so at the moment I am disappointed but I still haven't found my wattage sweet spot yet for the .3 ohm coils I am running, been using steam engine, and still a very slow process.

Yikes! What's your build? You should be getting a LOT better performance out of the Sapor. Mine rips at 70 watts!

My first clapton and it is a stupid creation made of 24/26 2.5 ID 5 wraps .44ohm. Flavor is great on the single. Would have made a dual but botched a couple of times and don't feel like messing with it right now.
Actually...
I might do it now...

Edit: 1hr later...
I did it but the second coil is kind of ..... It works though and is at .22ohm and working well at 4 volts. Tears through the juice like crazy...

Up higher maybe? And I run at lower watts then some. About 25 to 30. One Sapor 26 ga dual .40 The other Sapor twisted 28 ga. dual .49. Mine are up a bit. Just enough to get good cotton bed under. 3ml sized rod if that makes a dif. Using coil master

@BennyAdeline dual 26 guage kanthal coils, inner dia. of 3 mm, reading .38 ohm. Running at 40 watts right now.

Gotcha. Try this: twisted 28 dual coils on 3mm. About 8 wraps. You can push that to 70 watts easy. That's what I'm rocking now and it's very satisfying!

One of my Sapor wrapped 28 ga twisted on 3 mil rod. Dual coils, .5 ohm. I guess I'm weird but I keep my device at 30 watts and I'm golden. Batteries (Sig 150) last for my entire 13 hr shift. But I use another device during my shift as well. So the time is split b/t the 2 devices.

Considering all of the problems with the Aeolus v2 Pro, I'm holding off on getting one for now until Syntheticloud releases a better or at least problems fixed version of it. So I've been considering buying a Sapor, as a local B&M has them for $30. Is it worth it? What's the biggest build (coil diameter wise) anyone's thrown in it? My go to coils are fused Claptons, framed Claptons, and I've been loving alien coils lately, but I'm concerned with the post hole size.
It may just me being impatient and not wanting to spend the extra $ on a Vector for the time being, but compared to the Vector and Aeolus V2, would it be worth it to pick one up until Syntheticloud gets their act straight?

Get one! It's a great atty and can handle large builds. Postholes are generous.

I ripped out my twisted 28ga build and tried a dual 24ga 3mm 7 wrap build. It was terrible. Vapor production was weak, spit back was insane, and flavor was muted. Took it up to 80 watts and it still didn't perform.

Tried again with dual twisted 26ga, 10 wraps @ 2mm diameter, .36 ohm, one rayon wick for both coils. The coils are almost as long as the airflow slots, but still easy to fit in there. Raised them up as high as I could without making contact with the top. I'm rocking 70 watts at the moment with about 2/3 airflow, and it's vaping great. Zero spit back, very bright flavor, and plenty of vapor.

So I picked one up in SS, love the top airflow. Mine came with 3x top inserts, one chuff style, one with the 510 drip tip, and one was just like a back up disc. Anyways..this is by far the easiest atty I've ever built on. Like coils are plug n play. I've only had it under 24 hours but I'm already loving the top airflow. My only concern is about the o-rings on the deck, they don't quite hold the chamber on as much as I'd like. I'm thinking about using my mutation x v3 o-rings on the base because those are nice and beefy. Anyway here's a few pics:
Arched Claptons: 30g N80 wrap with 1 strand 26g N80 with a strand of 30g N80 on each side of it. So 3 core wires
