Just wanted to update my experience with this tank after using it for 2 days.

After using MTL gennies for the past year, coming to this huge airflow tank I already expected a huge loss of flavor. Which compared to a MTL gennie, the serpent indeed has way less flavor, but this was to be expected. Thats not to say it has bad flavor, but compared to SS mesh gennie, huge difference.

I honestly dont think the airflow adjustment does too much for the range that it can be rotated. Half open vs full open there is probably a difference of 5% airflow. Closing down to almost zero opening on the AFC results in a much stiffer draw but to me is pointless because the airflow area that should really be adjusted is the opening right under the coil.

Even though I have conquered the filling / leaking issue, my unit seems to weep liquid from the airholes over time from condensation / left over vapors. Turning the AFC ring after using the tank for a bit results in alot of eliquid weeping.

Build quality is good, ease of use is good. I think for 25$ it was an awesome buy.

I was looking for a nice airflow singlecoil subohm tank, and this one delivers.

I just wonder if there is a fix for the weeping juice from AFC, thats really my only complaint.
The airflow control sucks
Weeping is always gonna be there if u have minor leaking issues
I have mine for almost 2 months now
I have 3mm fused Clapton reading at .18 ohms it will leak YES, but it all depends on the juice u put in the tank, when I'm using 50/50pg the juice control is shut!! And I leave it there until I feel like it's drying, then I open it a little bit, then close it again... This is how I VAPE it... It's different for everybody...[emoji12]

I am vaping 70+ VG juice in mine with the juice control holes fully open. Maybe I will try closing it off alot and see what happens with the juice weeping out. I dont think my unit is leaking however, its just the built up vapor from vaping that slowly trickles out. After a few hours of vaping I can see little beads of liquid around my AFC ring. I think if it was actually a leak, i would see alot more liquid seeping out.

Try to close the juice control...
The serpent is PIA, but if you get it right it's GOOOOOD....
Like what I said it's all in the juice control, and one thing i do, I do the KAYFUN style
Fill it
Close it halfway
Flip the tank
Let the excess juice flow out
Then flip it back while fully closing the top cap, that helps....

Does anyone know if there is a way to turn the glass section so it lines up with the wick holes? Id like to be able to see my bubbles coming out of the juice flow channels. Right now I cant see when there are bubbles coming up unless I slant my device at an angle to view into the tank.

I would like to know this too. I have 1 tank out of 5 where I can see the juice channel and air bubbles. I'm afraid though since that section is all one piece we're screwed.

Get a fresh piece of fine sandpaper, and place in on a perfectly flat surface. Remove the tank and set the open end on the sandpaper. Slowly work the tank in a circular motion with light downward pressure, keeping the tank end flat against the surface. Do ten circles and screw the tank back on. You'll see that the window has moved a bit in relation to the juice channels. Repeat process until it is lined up the way you want it.

would this screw up the black version coating?

Probably not if you use very fine sandpaper but we'll see what TheWestPole says. What I'm wondering about is the base screwing back on tight and not losing some of the JC opening if you have to shave off quite a bit to get the juice slot to line up.

You will sand it off the mating surface only, not the outside. If it were paint it might be prone to chip, but it's not paint.

You'll be removing very little material. For example, to shift the window 1/4 turn you would be sanding it down 1/8 of a mm or a bit over the thickness of a sheet of printer paper. That's why you want to sand it just a little bit at a time as I outlined.

already received my ss sepent last week. i did not placed the oring at the base and so far no leaking.

what I did is close the juice control, then remove the top cap, fill juice. place the top cap but I still leave some thread, then turn it upside down, before closing it fully. then open the juice control.

what I find annoying, it's kinda noisy while vaping. Do you have any solution or method to make it quite or town down the hissing sound it makes?

Thanks!

You have to adjust the airflow as you go, it whistles like a mother father [emoji41]
